No dyno numbers all I have to go off of is MAF flow. It's really hot and humid lately so things may change a little in the fall when ambient conditions are more favorable. A little birdie told me g/s*1.18=bhp. I personally feel that calculation may be a little ambitious, but if that is true, then I'm around 371 at the crank.

Take it to KP Racing, by the horse track, and get that sucker dyno'd. They have a DynoJet.

So you have the 2.55, Spec-U headers, 4x4 Y-pipe, 3"(?) Catback, CAI(?), and the Ucon.

I imagine that your truck is around 350-370whp

Thanks for the reccomendation. I'll definitely hit them up.

    Correct
    3" (?) = URD MK3
    CAI (?) = AFe Stage 2 Si

I would be surprised if it's that high at the wheels. Maybe at the crank. Only flowing 315 g/s MAF.

I'll eventually get it on a dyno. Still need to fix an exhaust leak where the y-pipe slips together on the passenger side and also install that resonator (hopefully tomorrow if I have electricity!)

Going down to the 3rd post, you'll notice that you both have similar mods.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/1gr-fe-f-i-mods-and-dynos.465243/

You are however with higher boost pressure. Both being here in Houston (sea level), and you with a better set of headers, you are easily closer to the 370 whp mark. Your truck is likely heavier though.

CARB is a certified test. MFG has to pay to get the test and verify that it doesn't impact smog. I keep my stock intake and switch it out for testing. You will also have to remove your 7th injector not sure hot the truck will run w/o it if your tune is set up that way. Probably need an extra map just for smog.

I've never had the techs look at my ECU. Anyone know if leaving the UCON plugged in will raise any alarms with the OBDII test?

I just realized my truck is due for an emissions inspection. I'll do it Tuesday (time permitting) and let you know.

So, went through this thread, but wasn't totally clear to me. Assuming NA, what kind of benefits might be gained? Mostly performance-wise (surprise, surprise), but if there are others I would be curious. Trying to understand if $1600 is worth it without positive intake pressure..... Sounds like not, but looking for thoughts, opinions, facts.

Mine isn't NA but I would think UCON would be helpful if you had I/H/Y/E, due to the self tuning aspect of it. Not sure if it would be $1,600 worth of help, though.
