DIY Lighted Glovebox

    did you use a T-Tap or add a fuze to hook up to your power, and which wire did you tap into if you used it

    right so i finished this mod tonight with a headlamp. to help clear up an confusion which i had seen on the first page ill try explaining some stuff

    keep the led strip about two inches from the back so it can actually illuminate the glovebox, and not behind it
    i did not file down the switch as op did, the glove box needs pressure to keep the switch off. functions just fine

    (from the pictures below)
    1. is your power source from whatever (T-tap or add-a-fuze) it is hooked top one of switch's terminals
    2. is the led light positive (+) power to the switch telling it when it can go on and off (use the other terminal, the middle one can be left open)
    3. is the led light negative (-) power and should be hooked onto something metal inside the frame. (i found a bolt and just wrapped the exposed copper around it)

    Over a year later and I still havent done this.

    I have some extra LEDs... hopefully a parts store has a switch like this I can use locally
