    Thanks!
    She has a real job!
We do go together on her vacations. These monthly trips are my work this year, gathering information and GPS for a new Baja travel guide.

Here's my wife in Baja... you recognize this La Paz area attraction?

Baja is also a land where the sport of Off Road racing was born. The 49th Baja 500 race is this June. Here is the course map:

My pleasure... it is one of the few things I seem to do well! Join me on a trip south... Baja rocks!
I have five 2017 research trips plus one beach vacation trip this year posted here on TW in 2017.

    David,
I just stumbled across your post while looking for more info on the Rancho San Antonio (Formerly 'Los Codornices') area. The oasis and old adobe building is quite the place. It is also a real special cardon forest being located in the hills with large granitic outcrops. I went by rancho La Miseria early April 2021 and it has burned down. We rode by there in March of 2020 and it was still standing. The swimming pool looked so out of place in that remote area. Great job helping those folks out!
    Thanks for sharing your travels.

Wowsers... burned down??!! That couple maintaining the place did return after I rescued them, that LONG night in 2017... I am on Baja Nomad forums, and they have been written about since I was there. It was hard to believe that they went back after the Rosarito-based land owner stranded them in such dire need! Maybe they got pee-d off and torched it? I think the hot tub would be worth saving, however!
Thanks for the update... I will tell the Nomads!

PS, you may be interested in the new Baja Atlas map book coming out in a few days... I was an editor on it: https://www.benchmarkmaps.com/product/baja-california-road-recreation-atlas
