Hi guys, I have a couple of questions I hope somebody can shed some light on.

    1) I have a 2006 2.7 4x4 5 speed ac cab truck I'm looking to replace the clutch on it soon. It has 165k on it and is feeling worn out. Is there a brand you would recommend?

    2) this spring I am looking at starting a small time Landscaping operation and will be towing a zero turn, small push mower, and a few other hand tools. I will be using a pretty lite aluminum trailer. I have estimated a little over 2k lbs loaded. Can this truck handle that on a routine basis? I won't be driving long distances, just neighborhood to neighborhood. I am not really in the position to sell the truck and get a v6 or a bigger truck.

Any help would be great. Thanks taco world

It's rated to tow 3500 lbs. I would think you would be fine.

Just go with the stock aisin kit, it's like 150 on rockauto. If it's your first clutch job go ahead and reserve a weekend of your time.

Awesome CB setup, TRD leaf springs, matching camper shell...more to come some day.
I have the same truck as you, 06, 2.7, 5 spd, 4x4....I think other than lacking a little acceleration you really wont have any issues.
