the rubber seal inside the plug comes with the plug, might be able to find one from china, or possibly an electronics shop (not radio shack or best buy)

go talk with a collision shop, they may have a wire harness or a light there from a wreck.

The harness is a part of the upgrade just like the bulbs themselves. Without the harness the bulbs will experience more voltage drop resulting in reduced output.

Here is the reverse light upgrade, harness not needed:

Maybe AutoZone has it. I had to replace my H10 socket. AutoZone had a 9005 which fit.

    Basic question for y'all;

I have a base model 2005. I pulled the bumper cover off and noticed that I have the factory plugs for the fog lights included in the wiring harness. They are located behind the headlights like they are supposed to be. Is there anyway to trace the wires to see if they are hooked up to the fuse box? I do not have an interior factory switch for them. Is it simply a matter of putting a fuse in that location and testing to see of they are live, or is there a lot of work ahead of me to get the plugs wired in?

    Thanx in advance!

I'm not certain what parts will be missing, but at bare minimum you will need the switch, fuse and the relay.

Did some quick searching and didn't see anything conclusive. I did find this which might be helpful if you need to do your own wiring:

Just finding legitimate H11 yellow bulbs is hard. I’m not aware of any that are above stock wattage.

I would go with the Optilux Extreme Yellows. They are a Hella brand, 1200 lumens, 2500k color.

    Other legit options would be
    Nokya hyper yellow
    PIAA Ion yellow

    Questionable option
Chinese Osram All Season/Fog breaker - This is not the same quality German Osrams, they are made by their China division for Asian markets.

EDIT: I do not recommend Optilux bulbs, see my experience in post 814 here:

Just installed 1 H11 Nokya Clear 75W Bulb in the Driver's Side Fog Light, and in the Passenger Side is an H11 Sylvania ZXE 55W Bulb. I will be testing these on the garage door tonight once it gets dark. I just took a look at them in the Daytime on the garage and although tough to see the Nokya is definitely brighter. Stand by for night shots :D

So without a light meter it looks the same to me, taking pics standing in front of it. Taking pics on the garage door, I do not notice any real difference.

Hard to tell based on the picture. [Note these are not the 90w Flosser harnessed bulbs from the original thread]

If you black out the middle portion of the picture to eliminate some overlap, it does look like there is fuller beam coverage in the lower portion of the beam on the driver side, especially the outer corners. Somewhat difficult surface to tell on though, it would also help to judge being a little further away from the wall.

Admittedly those don't look like much difference. Just above the scoop on either side, it does look like the driver side is slightly fuller vs the passenger side has a more concentrated hot spot. But maybe I have been staring at it too long.

I do see some difference in brightness on the wall on the Driver side, so I'll put the other one and take a new pic

After purchasing an Optilux product, I'm sorry if I steered you wrong. Did you buy these? And did the bulbs say Optilux on the base, or were they repackaged Heliolites?

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...e-not-led-or-hid.398066/page-41#post-16638724

I may have a much better solution for you by the end of the year.
