    Howdy Y'all,

I have a 2015 double cab TSS prerunner that i am dying to see lifted. I have been told by the techs at the dealership that the TSS package has a 1 inch lift installed from the factory, however these are the same guys that thought my 2wd was a 4wd, so unsure if i'd believe them anywhere near 100%.

I just got brand new 265/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs and i cant really think of a better time to start seeing the options out there for lift kits. I have no legitimate need for a 6 inch lift or anything near that.

I have been recommended using Bilstein 5100 adjustables by several people riding at either 1.75- 2.5. Is this a good route to take? What all would need to be done to go this route to keep the factory ride of the truck? I really would like this to be as painless and headache free as possible. The most important thing is that i DO NOT want to ruin the truck as a result of the lift. What all needs to be changed or purchased in order to achieve this lift?

Thank all y'all in advance for the help!

Subd I'm wanting to find out what setting I can have mine on with as much lift as possible. Going from a 3 inch spacer lift. Don't really want to loose any, nor ride quality. Ride quality now isn't bad at all actually with what I got but I'm going off road more and I just know a need a little more. Not rough off road just forest road's and stuff like that.

Been doing the same research for months for my 2011 Prerunner. The general consensus is Bilstein 5100 springs (I’m going to set mine at 0” for ride quality) and use OME coils to lift the front 2.5”-3” and I intend to use a progressive AAL to lift the rear/keep it smooth and not risk ruining something.

Ok I’m on the same page. Will you be replacing UCA and/or LCA? What about a diff drop and longer brake lines?

I think I’ve decided to go with what I mentioned before for starters and only upgrade the UCAs if I absolutely need to. Some people need em, some don’t - I’m gonna wait it out and get them later if the need arises.

I'm at 5" lift up front on stock UCA's

Perfect alignment with factory suspension geometry

Just a matter of how you go about it!

okay this is the type of help that i have been failing to find! just for the sake of argument lets say i can source a complete lift kit from maxtrac with either fox or maxtrac shocks. Is there anything else i need to worry about? i guess the thing here is that this would be the first truck i am lifting myself and i wanna do it right the first time as opposed to having to repair things. What other components that do not come in the complete lift kit would you recommend looking in to?

You have SOOOOOOOOO many options my friend.

I would speak with Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road for best possible results

How much lift are you wanting?

That's the issue i think; there is almost too many options if that's possible.

Ideally i am looking for 4 in lift max. My buddy has a back to the future hilux that has a 6in on it and im not over the moon about it at all.

Thanks for the invite! id love to attend however I am on duty at my job from Sat Midnight til 430pm sunday. Ill watch that post and see if theres others i can attend or put in time off.

4" is a really nice in the middle height and will look very good.

In that case you could get an 883 coil with 5100s set on "zero" for an improved ride over stock.

Or go with really any designer brand coilover with a stock height coil for more "plush" of a ride.
Sounds good, be safe out there.

Stop by the thread sometime. Plenty of members in there willing to help out.

So what coils are you going with? I'm going with all billys all the way around. Already have a toytec aal, thinking about changing it out anyways. But if you have it set on 0 and going to get the 2.5 3 inch lift what setting is that? Like what clip. Yes that's how new I am to this.
I have a toytec 3 inch spacer lift, right now rides great but it's spacers and I'm starting to go off road a little more. Not nothing serious just logging roads and a little more but yeah just wanting to upgrade a little for now nothing to big but don't want to loose my height I'm at now because it looks great where I'm at now.
