My tax return says maybe I should shove a winch in my new front bumper. Thoughts? I'd need to change spring rates and probably revalve while the coil is off.

If I do it, I’m going to shove it in as far as possible. You should see what I have planned for the core support body mounts

Winch ordered. Really starting to be an expensive bumper build after buying a winch and a 20" Baja Designs bar

    Shittybuilt 9.5k synthetic. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K150ZNG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The bummer is, even if I really like it, it's going bye bye when I SAS because I'm making new frame rails, no way around that. My goal is just the experience so when it comes time to fab the bumper post-SAS, I can make it even better.

It might be too late, but you can probably save a good chunk of change if uoy get your winch like I did.

I found this website, which has it for $387,

    https://www.discountbandit.com/vehi...-5-gen-2-winch-with-synthetic-line-98495.html

but it seems a little sketchy so I had Morris 4x4 price match it online since they garuntee a price match. They matched it no problem so I got my winch shipped to my door for $380.

Some people hate on Smittybilt, but I really like mine and you can't beat the price. I just spooled it this morning to check the function like I do every couple months. Still works!

Maybe Amazon will price match also, not sure if they do that or not. Good luck! Worth a shot at saving $80.

They fucked my weekend up royally, sent me 3/4” instead of 7/8” shaft 2.0 joints for the upper links. Got everything pulled apart and ready to install and pulled them out of the box . . . Fuuuuuuuck.

They better have them in stock and overnight them tomorrow.

Also, the 2.63 joints just barely fit the ruffstuff brackets, had to take the zerks off so they could rotate.

So my truck wouldn't start. It had one single click and nothing. The battery is brand new and we just replaced the starter contacts thinking that was the problem. It's not. Any other ideas?

Have you checked your grounds? And all connections to/from the battery?

That's next step. Everything looks good at a glance but we're gonna crawl under it and follow everything.

When I did my contacts and plunger, I thought my starter was out but it was just a bad connection on the battery.

Also, if you pop the fuse cover in the engine bay, the starter relay is in there. You should be able to hear it click. No click=no good

Just the wire that goes from the battery to the starter. You can test this by "jumping it". Take a jumper cable from the battery and touching the bolt on the starter.

Yeah we hear a single click then nothing. Even when we tried jumping it there was no change.

I'll have Aaron try that, thanks
