Ok, the time has come to set up/ install an aux fuse box I am thinking of going larger, 10 instead of 5 or 12 or 6, as do it right once and have room to grow if needed. Anything I wire in, I want to be done thru this. I am thinking I would like it to be key activated if possible, or some sort of fail safe to ensure the battery isnt drained by accident.

"What is the amperage to determine what needs a relay and what can just use a fused?"
"That's typically determined by the current rating of the switch. You can't run more power than the switch is rated for without a relay. The factory style switches are rated at 3 amps if I'm remembering correctly."
"My general rule is over 10amps use a relay. Using a relay on a lower draw circuit can simplify the circuit, less wire running through the cab.""It certainly depends on the switch, most switches I've seen are rated 15 or 20amp, with some of ch4x4(I believe) switches being 3amp."

Again just realized some one stopped by.

The rack was given to me, but it was powdercoated after he got it as it started to rust. https://www.rackitinc.com/

I looked at my brakes, but don’t have any idea what I should have been looking for. I’ll have to do some research.

It’s not due for an oil change yet, but will probably do one. Just need to gather the needed stuff.

Took some photos while reinstalling the softopper. Was focused on how it the clamps seem to pull the “frame” inward.

Here the weatherstripping has been pushed to the outside.

Here you can see how the bolt won’t be able to straight in. 6A503BB9-5258-4772-8020-E935215D026B.jpg

See how it pulls the bar inward and not down.

30,600 new wheels and tires went on, Fluid filmed as well. Picts to come, didn’t get any today.

Edit:there is some rubbing that I believe is the front air dam. Dam guess that needs to come off. It maybe a broken mudflap on passenger front. Will follow up on that tomorrow, it’s not a constant rub, just seems to be a right turn with the truck unlevel.
