I have rancho 2.5 inches of lift. But I’m planning on ditching them for one of these. But not sure which would be better for off-road and on road. Any help? Also I seen that these are only 2 inches of lift as it states on the page.. I would like a 3inch.

Bro, you gotta do your research. Toytec makes all kinds of 3" lifts. You really shouldn't need UCAs with a 2" lift. Although, if you're looking for on road and off road balance the 5100 billys all around set at 0 with 2" OME coilsprings (or eibach) with a HS progressive AAL seems to be the crowd favorite. You also wont have to worry about a front diff drop. Read this...
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/dclb-with-885-springs-5100s-at-0-and-3-leaf-aal.502144/

Edit: I've heard of people liking the Dakar leaf pack instead of the AAL. In the thread he mentions doing it for around $800. The only thing you need to decide is which coil spring rate you want based on (armor, winch, bumper...girlfriend)

Well I was mostly looking at ome lifts and not ToyTec since I’ve seen most people use ome. But thanks for the info tho. I’ll will check out that page.

I have good luck with the billies/887 combo. Check out lowrange offroad i think you could save a couple bucks getting the stuff from them.

I went all OME, other than camburg UCA. I travel a minimum of 50 miles a day, 5 days a week, and like my set up. I am fully armored along with front SSO bumper and winch so I chose my set up accordingly, including 886 coils. I am considering a AAL to my Dakar’s because I am still sitting with my front a little high. As much as I would like to say my set up is the best because it’s mine but I have no frame of reference because I never had the 5100’s. I can say that the Dakar’s squeeked briefly before I sprayed them with white lithium and I have to keep my UCA greased or they will do the same. Still, I support maintence to have quality.
Edit: any doubt or questions ask @HeadStrong Off-Road !!!

Ome, Sqeak free dakars, arms, skids, sliders.
screw OME and 887x they sag something horribile. Save your money buy a nice coil over.

Dakars though after settling and with some weight are great.

I keep flipping back and forth myself between the threads from @jsinnard and @LadyRed. Both good options. But if i'm honest, I am in love with LadyRed's truck!

He means the pro charger shocks paired with the OME springs over the 5100s.

When I put my lift together I ran 5100s on my 1st gen for years and have been very happy with them which made me select them for the 3rd gen write up and keep it budget friendly. The OME pro charger addition would also be an excellent choice to use with my lift.

i really dont like the way my OME 880s with 5100s ride. I know toytec suggests against this combo. Something about the OME being linear springs on progressive shocks. Tried the eibachs too but hated them. will probably switch to the OME shocks
