So im trying to install these new headlights and I can't figure out where to put this green and black wire which I'm assuming is for the LED bar because that's the only thing that won't turn on. Anybody know where It connects?

It's being discussed in other threads as recent as an hour ago. Search is your friend.

That being said, you locate the side marker light in the factory housing. It's a little gray harness that plugs into the back of the side marker housing that is long and gray and the bulb that's in it is amber in color. Turn that 1/4 turn CCW and remove the whole thing from the factory housing. Grab the little amber bulb and pull it out of the longer gray housing thingy. That whole thing (with the harness still attached) is what you plug the little red dohicky into as the wires you see make contact with the leads inside where the bulb plugged. These can be neg/pos so test before you put everything back in. If it doesn't light with the headlight stock turned to parking lights (the setting before headlights come on) then simply unplug, flip it 180deg and put it back in.

They really should include better instructions with photos with this as the rest is simple plug and play. This isn't as intuitive as the rest.

Hey man. I just installed mine and really like em. I was looking at your pics and it almost appears as though you have side marker lights in. There are orange lens on the side, but I didn't put any bulbs in there. I just plugged the connector for the DRL into the side marker connector base that was swapped over from the original headlight housing (this is what the original side marker bulb would have plugged into). Maybe it's just the light from your DRL that makes it look as though they are lit up, or maybe you spliced the wires to both light up with the side marker wiring? If not, I missed doing something.

Other than my questioning whether there should be a side marker bulb, I really love the look of these suckers. I definitely want to find some smaller profile fog lights to "blend in" better. I wish I could find some projector style fogs that have a black housing around them that were direct plug in and direct mount. So far, no luck. I was thinking of possibly buying the black fog light covers (inserts) for these models, and cutting the centers out to adapt some smaller projector fogs. We'll see. One fog lamp is cloudy, so they are getting replaced anyway. I just need to find the right style.

Look up @CaliRaisedLed fog light insert pod lights that's what am good do I think they look sweet. Or morimoto led projector for lights is all plug and play and your right I spliced them to my parking lights since my 06 doesnt have DRL and that's why the little led side amber lights come on.

Thanks for the reply and info. I saw the Morimotos before and like them, but they sure are pricey.

My Tacoma did not have a separate wire for the DRL either. So I'm clear, there was a connector with two wires (the DRL wires) that came out of the hole for the side marker lamp of these Spyder housings. That connector plugged right into the spot that the side marker bulb would have connected. Did you leave those wires coming through that hole and also seat the side marker lamp connector in with a bulb attached (which would pinch the DRL wires)? Or did you create a new hole to bring those wires through and then splice them to the side marker wires? I did what Ostrichsak suggested a few posts above (connected the DRL plug where the side marker bulb would have seated). I'm wondering now if I'll need those side markers to illuminate to pass vehicle inspection in PA. At least I can just unplug the DRL wire and pop a side marker bulb right back in (with the DRLs disabled) for inspection if I need to. Otherwise, I may have to splice too so everything lights up together (DRLs and side marker bulb).

I just used the same hole and kinda forced seated it tight. No problems so far. Had been though rain fog and little bit of humid weather here in oregon and been water tight. Those side markers are led and are connected to your parking lights so your drls might be different from your parking lights so I would check that first. Because once you cut them you kinda cant yo back because the Drl lights on the head lights are kinda too short lol.
