Is anyone aware of an off the shelf rear shock relocation kit that supports 14" King 2 or 3 tubes besides the Archive Garage set? Anyone run the Archives?

Anyone who has had one custom fabbed, can you provide some details on your setup?

    A thing or two...
Archive is the only one that I'm aware of that fits 14" shocks under the bed. I have their towers but not installed yet.

Chaos used 14” bypasses on custom hoops on their morroco rally truck. 14’s under the bed are less than ideal. The mounts will hang lower than sua leafs and the shocks will end up about 1.5-2” off the frame. You’ll need proper tube layout, and a wider rear end or 2” wheel spacers(and still may run) 12” shocks fit much much better under the bed.

Besides archive no one makes what you’re looking for it will need to be custom fabbed

Here’s a pic of 14” bypasses under the bed

@glorifiedwelder Thanks for the response. I am still weighing my options on what to do with the rear of my truck and have looked at the Morocco truck several times for inspiration. I have a '15 DCLB that I'll be installing a Vagabond Drifter on in late June and will be doing an interior build out similar to the Goose Gear Habitat truck using 80-20 with a fridge etc following that. Weighing the rear end down further is a Pelfreybilt HC rear bumper w/ swing out. I want to step up to 315/70r17s from 255/85r16. The rear setup is currently Icon V.S. 2.5 Series RR Rear Shocks w/CDCV, All Pro Expo springs and Timbren bumps and I find the rear suspension performance to be disappointing even before adding all the new weight. Otherwise the truck has a supercharger, 4.56 gears and ARB lockers, front end is current a stage 5 Icon setup but will be going to a TC Race LT 2" kit. Given the Drifter fiberglass sides and a bed cage are out. I'm pretty sure SOA makes more sense for me than MT SUA but I'm open to suggestions or thoughts.

Curious why you are ruling out glass? Is it that you want to keep the sheet metal beds and fenders? Are you concerned with staying SOA so you can carry more weight? I remember when I went from SOA to my MT SUA it was night and day difference. Im not too experienced with all the options SOA has, but typically SUA rides much better.

Yea, it's a weight thing. Between the Drifter, full interior build out, fridge, swing out etc I'm just not sure SUA or glass fenders is right for me. I'm game, and I certainly love driving fast in the desert, but it just doesn't seem like the best choice given the rest of my setup. Are there even glass fenders that support a shell with a RTT and people sleeping in it?

You are right in that glass doesn't go well with weight on it. SUA springs can be ordered from deaver in any config for any weight as long as you know your estimated consistent weight threshold. Again, Im not sure of the full capability of a solid SOA setup, but my guess is they would not be the best fit for fast applications like an SUA has been as you can cycle more travel in a SUA/stock arrangement and relocation is much more beneficial in an SUA set up since you gain more up travel with the lift.

Im in the same boat with my RTT as I am going to design a bed rack to remain off the bed rails entirely and only use the frame bolts underneath so its weight wont disturb the glass in any way. Many LT guys who want an RTT have done similar or else you chance stress cracking your beds at the top.

Yea, it's not really possible to keep the Drifter off the rail. Ultimately I'm happy with running 35s and cutting the hell out of the fenders to do so. I'll spend some time looking at SUA setups.

i did 12" but could have fit 14" your best bet is to have some custom mounts made. Also, if you have a shell and a rtt, take a look at it when driving off road, that sucker moves a lot, i would recommend an internal cage to support the weight of it. I cracked my last shell due to that. And once you do that you can run glass fenders with no issues.
I am also thinking about SUA just got get more room for the bump lol
