STI Driver Radar Detector - Direct Wire

Hi,
I'm new to this so please forgive me if this is the wrong forum etc....

I have a 2009 Double Cab and I am trying to install a "direct wire" cable for the Beltronics STI Driver. I'm having difficulty trying to figure out where I can 'tie into' for power.... I have been looking at the fuse box area at the driver’s side (around left knee when sitting on the seat) however I cannot figure out where or what cables I can tie into...

The STI Driver operates on 12V DC negative ground only. Because I do not want the detector to be on all the time and drain my battery I was thinking about the auxiliary power outlet cables but I cannot find them (don't know even where to start...). Note that the power connection I have has an inline fuse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!

check out tactical tacoma's build, he hard wired a radar detector into his rearview mirror. check out his pics, maybe that will work for you...

you could tie into the ignition wire like the foglight mod, so that the radar only comes on when your ignition is on. And you could do the foglight mod while you are doing that as well. here is the foglight mod
