4 gauge power and ground all in and run with the factory harnesses under the seat.

From the battery thru the firewall and down the left kickpanel...

Then under the door sill and along the tunnel under the seat. The factory ground is also right there under the carpet.
    20180624_154643.jpg

Then out to the amp which is held in place with velcro to the carpet.

What adapters/plugs did you get to plug these in to the factory wiring?

I’m not referring to the 3D printed tweeter mounts, I mean the actual wiring.

So I've been switching between the sealed RF Punch 8 and a ported Skar 8 just to see which matches best with the replacement speakers.....sealed 8 wins by a landslide.

The ported 8 gets crazy low but is just too loud and boomy in the little double cab. Maybe in a trunk or SUV, but practically sitting on top of it in this truck is too much.

    You leaving that there?

A ported box will always play lower and "boomy" over a sealed. It really comes down to what your taste in music is.

No I pulled it out, I'll either sell it or put it in another car.

I've had ported 8s and 10s in larger vehicles but never anything this small. 300 watts to that Skar sub was bouncing the sunvisors lol.

********* box is on the way...let's hope the 4th time is a charm!

Trying to fit a sub in here is the only thing making me miss an SUV.

Not enough boom...too big...way too big lol.

Prepping for the box, removed the rear storage bins, Dynamat on the rear wall and some minor reupholstering to cover the seat back after the plastic trim was removed to clear the box.

Box is in, little bit of matching carpet to finish the top where the bin was removed and it's all done.

I hate the logo on the box but it doesn't bother me enough to re-carpet it......yet.

I love it, that 10 in the sealed box is perfect for everything I listen to.

I can't fold that section of the seat all the way down but otherwise it's completely out of sight with no loss of usable space.
