I usually only run the AC when I have passengers or am going down steep grades. I use the AC as a poor mans engine brake.

Mine was getting 15-16 in town, and maybe 18 highway until I got over 7000 miles. Now at 7600 miles I'm seeing a huge jump in mpg's.
What are you at on your ODO?

I think there is a MT specific update in that TSB. It might say 6AT but if you read the thread further the codes 8966304B1200 to 8966304B1300 is apparently for MT trucks.

I just past 10,000. Its all good I really do let it idle for extended periods of time with a/c. I have no problem sacrificing a few mpg's for my girl. she doesn't have too much time left so whatever she want to make her comfortable. The truck is her favorite thing.

All the proper info is in the tsb except for someone decided to only put AT in the header. They really messed this one up. I’ll be going to my dealer within the month and see what happens. Hopefully they will get on it to fix the wording by then. I have the surge mostly when cold. However it sounds like this addresses many more drivability problems such as throttle response and others. I’m in for smoother shifts for sure.

Other way around for me. Getting a 2018 Pro MT tomorrow from a OR AT. Haven't driven a MT for a year. Should be entertaining.

Does anyone know if the spare tire on a TRD Sport has a TPMS sensor. And/or if compatible with stock alloy wheels.

Don’t believe any of the Tacoma spares come with the TPMS in them. I know my OR did not have one when I had my 5th KO2 mounted on it.

Last time a Tacoma had the sensor in the spare was around 2008 or 2009.

That sounds right. My 2007 had one but my 16 does not. It was a nice feature and a good safe guard to never have a flat spare when you need it.

Where could I go about finding a complete set of TPMS for not too much money? 0.o

Really? You have an ACLB 6MT OR 4x4 with a V6? If so I am insanely jealous. How is that possible? Mine is a 2017 and I did a custom order from the factory and they told me that that configuration DID NOT exist. I was pissed I had to get the Sport.

Possible because he’s in Canada. They get ACLB 6MT in off road but not sport.

Hey, so here's a question to the masses here. What's the record for 3rd Gen MT's in a single picture? I'm pretty sure I could conjure up 5 local.
