Good Day! I am a Tacoma Newbie here. Glad to join the Taco World!

I just purchased a primo condition 2006 Double Cab TRD. I have a year-old BOSS (yeah I know not BOSE) DDIN head unit (out of my 20-year-old Ford Ranger RIP) with a backup camera to install.
Looking for directions to the best thread on this.

I have upgraded to a Crutchfield Optix backup cam (plate mount) so looking for the reverse light wiring, (does it have a module I have to worry about?) and I am adding a command-on switch to the dash.
Interested if I can use the Mirror Cam connector behind the dash (if I have one)

Any directions to an existing thread, or advice are welcome!

Thanks for the reply. Since I already have the camera, I'll stick with it for now. Kinda hard to return it after I've already used it on my old Ranger for a few months.
Keep you posted on my project.
