2018 Tacoma DCSB Feeler!

[Washington] Bought a house. Would like to see and get something cheaper. My truck is pretty much bone stock unless you count blacking out the emblems. Only 7800miles. Perfect condition. Pretty much brand new to be honest. TRD OR silver sky metallic with leather option. Tech and premium packages with the JBL also has bed mat. I added the extang 2.0 tonneau cover, and husky liners. My truck is a lease its been well taken care of.
$36,000.

 

I will buy the Tonneau cover rail system. Don't need the actual cover, just the rail and mounting hardware.

 

I am not parting my leased vehicle.

What is your price? Monthly lease? Dont see it in the description.

 

Its a feeler for $38,000. Price is at the bottom. Monthly payments I pay are about $378 with 10.7% tax and warranty included. Not really think about lease transfer but not opposed to it either.

 

Your gonna be hard pressed selling such a new vehicle especially at a price so close to what people are paying for new with same options. Sucks but I'd say keep it or take the loss if you really hate it.

 

Yeah it is close but for this truck msrp was in the 40's and comes with tonneau and extended warranty. There should be value in that. I think it's fair. You would be saving 6k over new and this truck is still pristine.

I've seen guys paying $38k for that same truck new in the what did you pay thread without the warranty man. Just gonna be hard to convince someone to go used over new for same price. This is Tacoma number 6 for me, they hold strong value and most people who shop used go 2-3 years+ otherwise they go new, just not worth the $1-2k difference. That being said if your looking to get a different scoot see what trade will fetch you.

 

Also this is just a feeler. I dont honestly think only posting in a tacoma forum is the best place to advertise ya know.

As a reference... I paid close to what you're asking for a new 2018 DCLB tech + prem. 2018s are cheap right now so that may also affect your resale price. I wouldn't consider your truck at that price when ~$1000 more gets me a new truck with the same options. Just putting this out there to help you understand the market.

You will see people here getting TRD ORs with tech or tech/prem for around what you're asking.

It is my understanding that many people are paying around the same price for an all new truck. MY truck is still new/used, has a $2-3k worth in just an extended warranty, a tonneau cover close to $1k new, and husky liners/bed mat. At this point I have no other post listed for this truck, this is still just a feeler. When I get more serious about selling I would be open to further negotiation.

 

According to KBB I'm presenting a bargain!

 

You overpaid then for both the warranty and OEM Tonneau, I got my 8yr/125k platinum toyota warranty for $1050 from a dealer who sells them here on TW in CO and the OEM tonneau is a $650 invoice option. Just saying man.

 

All you are saying is that dependant on individual input, assuming you got the absolute best deal possible, then there is a Minimum value of close to $2k in extras. AND list price is at close mid KBB suggestion. Thank you for the confirmation. Who would like to save some money?

 

Not confirmation by any means. Your price isnt a bargain for anyone who could buy the same truck new for same/similar price. GLWS though...
