Not enough to have a build thread.
Mine came in. I'll install after the holidays. Does it say what size hole saw is needed?

I wonder if maybe in Malaysia they only have 3.4 and diesel? So to be on the safe side they just list V6.

Got mine on Friday. Ordered it on Monday. They don’t ship to Canada so I just shipped it to Washington and got a courier company to send it over. Might throw it on tomorrow if I can find a 3.5” hole saw somewhere haha

Get it all prepared tomorrow. Take off your flare, fender liner, wheel (optional), mask off area, have tools ready, and paint the pillar bracket (optional). Then on Wednesday drop by Home Depot and get the Milwaukee hole saw, it’s worth it. Don’t use a cheap or one that is not made for cutting metal. It will be a quick job on Wednesday if you prep everything on Xmas :)

    Merry Christmas everyone :)

Fender flare is off with the liner. And actually just found a brand new Milwaukee hole saw from one of my kits. Should be able to get it done tomorrow hopefully

It's an easy install. Took me an afternoon and that was with me taking my time and asking a bunch of questions on here because my truck was missing the stock air intake tube inside the fender lol. Cutting the hole is the hardest part and that's only because it goes against your intuition to cut a hole in your truck. Once that's done it's all smooth sailing.

Just remember the old adage ' measure twice, cut once'. Use a self etching primer spray on the holes you make to prevent rust.

TRD Off Road sticker. Not the whole package, just the sticker.
They shipped it to me faster than I can get it installed. Haha

Still says it’s being delivered tomorrow but no update on tracking from UPS since the 23rd when it was in “Chek Lap Kok” Hong Kong....what an unfortunate name for a town.

Not for this guy lol. Lost a nut via magical nut time-space teleportation, my antenna top bolt was completely rotted out so that got nuked taking it and the weather grommet thing off, looked kind of like this guy's second gen:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/how-to-replace-oem-antenna-in-fender.261341/
and had a hell of a time with that snorkel top bolt.

Tip to those doing this- just go ahead and buy the plastic mount tab things for the OEM fender flares, and the large black ones for the fender liner.
    https://www.amazon.com/NWClips-Toyota-Tacoma-Fender-C42-43x4/dp/B01A4MHYWA

And this looks like the splash guard ones:
    https://www.amazon.com/PartsSquare-...XT0JRVHBN2EA1SVX&pd_rd_w=9HKBr&pd_rd_wg=IJUjI

And if your antenna is rotted out:
    Looks like it is
    86396-16020 for the nut $23
    86392-04020 for the ornament $25
Price is higher than other models, weird.

The template seems like it could have been about 3-5mm further back.

The top bolt of the snorkel is SUCH a PITA! A few times the nut fell from my hand and I would use a magnet tool to get it out of the door jam/mud flat area, but one drop it just magically disappeared- I'm truly mind boggled as I checked every cranny, suspension area and floor of the recently cleaned garage. My only guess is it made a one-in-a-million bounce off of the splash liner into a small hole in the frame of the truck- so frustrating- chairs would have flown. I had to get a non-locking bolt and used some red thread locker on it (and the studs you put into the snorkel while I was at it).

Another tip, get the snorkel rubber hose union connected before clamping down on those bolts.

The bracket comes bare metal, so I will be painting it black before installing, and can't make up my mind if I would rather have screws in place of the rivets or not.

Oh yeah I didn't even bother with that top bolt...tried a few times and realized it was not going in, my hands/arms are too big. It stays in place just fine with the other two bolts once it's connected to the intake tube inside the fender

Finally got around to opening the issue. Quality looks great, slightly bent piece from shopping but nothing major.

Now just need to find a stock intake .

Which part, the whole intake? I had to source the stock air tube inside the fender that the PO apparently removed

You should paint it silver to match the bed rack.

I think we mention it on here if not, here:
Champion has their 95-04 Tacoma radiator back in stock.
