Just like any other out there. They are all made in the same factory, just have different names put on them. The WEW tent does have a heavier material for the main tent body and they also upgrade some of the hardware and build the tent for you before delivery or pick up. And the mounts. I don't think anyone makes mounts like they have.

So far north they call it Hwy 1. :) This is just north of Fort Bragg
It’s pretty remote. Maybe 10 cars went by all night

When going down the highway I really can’t make out much wind noise from my iKamper and it’s done great getting tossed all around on my @KB Voodoo AluMax tall-long-bed rack.
This is just north of the Avenue of Giants in Northern California on the Eel River. Near here is the Founders Grove with a tree about 35 stories tall, and that’s not even the tallest here. Blows my mind looking up it.

Posed a little here, I know when I was researching my RTT that profile shots helped as much as photos of the RTT opened.

I miss that part of the country. Wish my truck was as rigged up as it is now, when I lived there. I miss Fort Bragg and HWY 1. That Coast Line is amazing

Last night of my Northern California trip searching for the giant redwoods. Hiked Fern Canyon today jumping log to log and rock to rock. They filmed a scene from Jurassic Park 2 here where the dude is walking the river and all the little dinos swarm and peck his flesh off. Didn’t see any of those, but the scale and beauty is amazing. Last photo is my set up for tonight, finally set up my awning and I’m surprised how big it is

Thanks had stumbled upon those after posting. Looks like the tent would keep me from opening the tonneau tho when installed. Can RTT’s mount to prinsu’s over the cab?

While the tent is on you lose the ability to open. So it depends on the solution you are looking for. Will your tent and rack stay on all the time? Or do you want to mount hardware directly to the cover and take just the tent off? You can mount a Prinsu cabrac and put a tent there, if you like that look. For me I need to drive highway to get places and it’s an aerodynamic wall on top right there. Guys do it and love it, but I chose to mount my soft top RTT low on KB Voodoo Hi-Rise rails above my DB cover, and they easily come off when not camping. Then I went for it for a full rack and sleeker iKamper that come off when not camping. This is the solution I went for:

Great idea an nice right up. I think I need to just get the DB, and see how it works with my gear instead of trying to just imagine scenarios. Same goes for how I’ll eventually run my RTT setup. I think I’m getting caught up in the “what if’s” of finding a one size fits all solution instead of just conceiving that something my need to be re-arranged when shifting from daily driver to camping rig. You can spend way too much time trying to come up with the perfect solution that and never actually end up making it into nature!

We'd returned from The Re-Tour a mere three weeks before our departure date, but that didn't mean there were only a few short days to plan for our next epic adventure. In fact, quite the contrary - we'd been planning our trip south to Arizona and Utah for nearly a year - knowing that there was way more ground than we could cover in the two weeks we had allocated for the excursion.

Our plan was simple, if long. Start in St. George, Utah, and work our way east - first along the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, then through Glen Canyon National Monument (Lake Powell), and then through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument to Bears Ears National Monument and Natural Bridges National Monuments. Then, finally, we'd work our way back north through Capitol Reef National Park, having seen the plethora of sights and plenty of dirt roads along the way. It was, to be sure, the most ambitious trip (for me) to date!

Read the first chapter and see all the photos at:
Exploring the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bears Ears and more! (Oct 2018)

If you look at @Papadave418 he has a couple of threads and posts with a KBV rack and the Diamondback on his rig. There is also a YouTube detailed rundown of his setup. You might find some helpful stuff there.

    Hey all!

I'm looking for advice and specs on how to set up an electric winch(s) to store my RTT and bed rack in the garage when not in use. I did a few searches and not getting any solid hots so I thought I'd ask here. I'm also working today (boooo) and feeling a little lazy to be honest.

    Thanks in advance!
