Standard "figure it's time to start a build thread" and "just trying to keep track of my mods" because it's true. I'm likely going to miss a bunch of mods I've done because I haven't kept track.

Truck: 2015 DCSB 4x4, 4.0L with 6 speed manual. Purchased with around 50k on the odometer.

Don't have a finished shot of this cabinet, but here's a shot from roughing it in. Hoping to get the wiring done and diesel heater installed this week.

I've been getting a lot of small stuff done, but not really completing anything major. Did my rearview camera relocation, but still need to tilt it down more. I have the bracket held in place by magnets for now.

Been making slow progress on the interior. A lot going on these days with planning to move states, but hopefully have the thing ready for a few summer camping trips as weather warms up around here!

I have a set of airbags and cradles on order from Autoanything to help level it out. With the move I'll be dragging my 20ft flat bed and the truck already has issues staying level. When I'm home off the boat I'll be installing those as well as some drawers in the back. I'm ordering a new charge controller to work with the panels in a 24v to 12v configuration as well. Excited to finally get some power hooked up in the back!

Don't know how I missed it, but I did install a snorkel. It's an airflow purchase through a group buy on here. I don't think I've ever been more nervous than cutting a hole in my fender. Overall very happy with how it turned out!IMG_20190308_174432.jpg IMG_20190309_114020.jpg

I've been super lazy about updating here. I installed a set of Goodyear airbags with Daystar cradles and am so far incredibly pleased with them, wish I did it sooner. My vent in the camper was leaking so that was pulled off, resealed and reinstalled. Camper progress has been going well, with a charge controller and batteries finally installed. Fishing poles are mounted, kayak rack built, and I put my patch collection in. I'm out of my house for the summer, so guess I'm kind of living it in until the girl and I move in together later this summer.

Been a long time since I've updated. Truck worked great for the move! Towed my 20' deck trailer twice from Traverse City, MI to Milwaukee, WI. Then she got new rims/tires (FJ trail Teams and Wildpeak AT3Ws). The girl and I spent a few nights in it camping before I had to go back to work and we enjoyed it immensely!

I was having a heck of a time finding nuts to work with the rail on top of the treehouse for my kayak rack. Wound up contacting Snap asking what they use and turns out they custom make the nuts. Fortunately they're sending me a set of 4 so I can solidly affix my rack!

They also came out with a new option of barnhouse doors which are very tempting. But for $800 I may just stick with what I have. Anyone have a camper like this and barnhouse doors vs regular? I found while camping here in the Midwest we're usually opening one side and jumping in quick to try and minimize the number of skeeters that can get in. I figure barnhouse doors would make it a little easier for my (very) short girlfriend

Nice! You have a Snap Outfitters camper! They build them really close to me, and I have hardly seen any in the real world!

Yes sir! As far as I know there's only a handful of them made, but they're churning out more and more every day! Really cool people building them. I like it because the girlfriend who was hesitant about camping is willing to camp in it.

It's about 350lbs. Honestly the stuff I keep in the bed probably weighs more than the topper!

I have a new treehouse and compact batwing. What bracket did you use to mount the batwing?

Congrats! I didn't mount it, they did. Looks like it's an 80/20 set up. I can probably get some pics of it tomorrow for you

Haven't gotten much work done on the truck yet, but did manage to haul a trailer 8 hours each way to get the last of my stuff for moving to WI! Planning a handful of maintenance items before heading out to Overland East
