The Very first thing that was done, was to remove the 4G cell booster from the Cherokee, and get it installed into the Tacoma

    ***Wilson is now Weboost***

    20181210_115043 (1).jpg
So far I have not noticed any conflict between the sharkfin and the antenna for the booster.

    20181210_115015 (1).jpg

A screen shot showing the signal Level BEFORE installing the booster.

    Screenshot_20181209-152001_Settings (1).jpg

and showing the the difference with the booster

    Screenshot_20181209-152203_Settings (1).jpg

Keep in mind this will not do any good if there is ZERO signal in the area, but if there is something there this does make a difference. I originally picked this up because of my driving through the dead zones of West Texas, and it decreased the area I had no signal greatly.

Over Black friday @N2DesignsInc had a sale on there plug and play remote start units. and I quckly jumped on that as I wanted to be able to bring the cabin temps toa comfortable level, depending the time of year.

3 presses of the lock button on the OEM fob to start and 3 more to shut the truck off

    20181217_205113.jpg 20181217_205134 (1).jpg
The harness was nicely done, and made the install much smoother and easier.

Brand new truck and already pulling the inside apart... somethings never change...

    20181217_212438 (1).jpg 20181217_212444 (1).jpg

Plug in the controller, while I saw room for improvement on the documentation, something that has since been resolved, the install process was simple and smooth. and the owner at N2designs has terrific tech support should you need it. he is extremely passionate about his product, and it shows in his support of his product.

After installing and a simple programming of the module. the unit was tuck up in the dash and everything closed back up.

One of the next items added was the Dashtop Multi Mount or DMM from @FreshMexicanTaco.

The mount attaches to the radio bezzle and is design to fit in like a factory option.

    20181221_150542 (2).jpg

I used several large binder clips to clamp the top plate in place while I drilled the holes.

    20181221_150851_001 (4).jpg

    20181221_151731 (3).jpg

Use the included cap screws as alignment pins when screwing the top plate and bottom plates together sandwiching the radio trim in between.

    20181221_152213 (1).jpg

    20181221_154433 (3).jpg

Some have said they needed to trim the tabs, but I was able to get mine installed with out any trimming of the mounting tabs

    20181221_154437 (2).jpg

    Finished install

    20181221_154609 (1).jpg

I wanted to plug the unused holes so I used some 10-32 allen head screws as plugs.

    20190107_173028 (2).jpg

Some black paint to hide the silver at the base of the ram ball mount

Anytime front and rear camera was added.

I used a piece of scrap left over from the tool mounts to make the camera mount it was a quick seat of the pants fab job. it was cut to length a holled drilled to take the mounting stud, and quick spray paint where I was to inpatient to wait for it to dry 100%

One of these day I may take it back off and trim it a bit and repaint.
    20190118_153510.jpg

I have been really happy with the Natika Backup camera that I used in the front. and I may try and find a way to swap it out for the OEM backup camera

Before, I manage to suck water in the rear diff, I decided it was a good idea to do the Rear breather relocate.

    I used;
    Union part# 90404-51319
    Breather part#90930-03136
    3/8" fuel line
    couple hose clamps
5/8" adel clamp to hang the breather and hose from in taillight area

I went for placing it behind the left rear taillight. the bracket on the bedside of the opening was perfect for mounting the hose and breather

    20190317_141121 (1).jpg

    20190317_143712 (1).jpg

the 3/8" ID hose was fed through this opening at the bottom

    20190317_141128 (1).jpg

The old Breather was removed from top of the axle housing

    20190317_144357.jpg
the new Union part# 90404-51319 replace it

    20190317_150036.jpg

a couple of zip ties was used to tidy up the slack, I tried to match the slack in the OEM brake lines, along with some extra in case the truck has a growth spurt in the future and grows a bit taller.

Worked on a little project during my off hitch.

    Rock lights Inspired by @SMKYTXN

Turned put to be alot of work, and still not finished.

    20190402_091944.jpg

    20190402_091955.jpg

Some cheap 6w led strips from Amazon.

    20190402_092256.jpg

The angle was trimmed to 7 1/4"

    20190402_092419.jpg

    20190402_094858.jpg

A rubber grommet was added at one end. The hole was drilled to 5/16

    20190402_113019.jpg

Hopefully, the aluminum helps act as a heat sink, but with the double stick tape, probably not very well.

    20190402_123022.jpg

The factory leads where trimmed down and stripped.

The wire is extremely fine and hard to work with, I stripped worn my finger nails about 2" twisted the wires togather and "wire wrapped" and soldered around the 16g wire

    20190402_122931.jpg

First layer of heat shrink, a second layer over both the positive and negative was added..

    20190402_144553.jpg

2 neodymium magnets are epoxies to the back.

    20190402_144713.jpg

Still need to build the main harness, and add some. Loom or harness tape..

hopefully they work out. But it was fun, yet tedious to assemble the light modules

SPECIAL SERVICE CAMPAIGN K0B (Remedy Notice) - Certain 2018 – 2019 Model Year Tacoma and Tundra - Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor
    Status
    Remedy Available
    Description
The involved vehicles are equipped with a Pre-Collision System (PCS) that may automatically apply the brakes if the system detects a potential collision. Due to the mounting of one of the system’s sensors, it is possible for water to enter the sensor. This can lead to PCS deactivation or inadvertent brake activation resulting in limited deceleration for a short duration of time.
    Remedy
Any authorized Toyota dealer will update the PCS software and apply sealer to the millimeter wave radar sensor in the front grille. In the rare case that the vehicle is currently exhibiting the condition, dealers will diagnose the sensor and replace the sensor, as necessary, FREE OF CHARGE.
