I have a 2017 Unlimited with a JBL Radio without Apple Play. I would like to have Apple Play but don't want to replace this already high-quality system. Has anyone solved this issue?

Nope. You’re replacing the radio if you want CarPlay.

Doesn't seem to be available, and the one review doesn't seem promising

Does the Alpine Halo 9 allow for all of the stock features like using the buttons on the steering wheel to make calls etc?

Yes buy it on Crutchfield and the Maestro Module, that Alpine recommends, integrates all steering wheel functions. Plus you get more vehicle information, customize the door unlock options, and audible notification.

I just wish this could be more flush to the dash and had wireless CarPlay.
