I love my ECT button on my shifter knob. Definitely my favourite addition, but I haven’t done many. It’s super clean, as in looks factory or better and was a relatively easy install.

No more reaching for the dash, because Toyota can’t design truck transmission/motor software!!

I'd have to say my 3X remote start. Life is good.

This. Simple, relatively cheap and effective.

Interesting. I was just watching videos on those last night wondering if I shouldn't have gone that route over fiberglass. I didn't like them at first but they're growing on me.

I find myself hauling things often enough taller then the topper that the ease of on and off is well worth it. 5 Minutes to take it off to load the atv in the bed of the truck. It stays on all the time. I don't know that I will ever own another truck with out one.

You should add a poll with some of the most common items people post about, we all want to see the most useful mods but going through every page of the thread to find out isn’t really practical

Already said but agree with: OEM Bed Mat, Center and Glovebox Organizers, Weathertech Mats.

As far as lighting - LED everything (haven't done internal or high beams yet) + ditch lights. My fog lights are duplicates of my ditch lights and I prefer them to my high beams in most scenarios.

How strong is this cover? Are you able to put some weight on it, like around 100 lbs or so without it buckling? Is it strong enough to put D-ring tie downs?

It’s quite strong, and I actually have the E Series which is thinner than the premium. 100lb evenly distributed would be no problem, but I’m not sure about the D rings because I don’t know what the core material is and how well it would take a self tapping screw.

By far the most useful of the inexpensive add-ons is to have a quickly removable large Contico trunk/toolbox. I have mine mounted with hooked turnbuckles. It just takes a few seconds to remove or install it. I keep stuff in it to keep from cluttering up the interior of my truck. I have work jackets, a small gas can, tie down straps, that sort of stuff in the toolbox. It can also hold a lot of luggage or camping/hunting gear. I have a second one of these for when I'm going on trips. Three of these Contico toolboxes will fit in the 5 foot bed. 20190520_145621.jpg 20190520_145630.jpg
