Just spent 2 hours looking through that thread. I'm amazed by the skills you have from welding, to wiring, to sewing.

Could someone tell me how you connect one of these things? I bought this off of eBay, but it came with no instructions or diagrams of how to hook it up. Thanks.

    A thing or two...
What does the bottom look like? Is it already wired? I thought you already had a Bussmann. You should just need to connect a fused wire to the battery, and your accessories connect to the Bussmann fuses and switches connect to the relays.

If it isn't wired and doesn't have the terminals, read this thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-build-and-install-a-bussmann-rtmr-fuse-relay-block.399454/) and get ready to spend some money.

Here is my Aux set up. I ran the "before photo" for a while, then rewired and cleaned things up yesterday and placed it all in a weather-proof box.

    Afters:

All my aux electricals are activated by these push switches which light up when activated. The mounting holes are off a bit but I can live with it for the time being.

Awesome stuff @Millsy! How did you mount the new box? Any pics of the bracket?

Unfortunately no pic for it, but it's just an L bracket drilled out to match the threaded mounting holes on the body and the box is bolted to the bracket with 2 Allen Head Bolts and Nyloc nuts.

So far I'm doing this totally bassackwards. Since I don't know ahead of time exactly what will end up plugged into the Bussman I'm just doing the mods first as they come to me. Even though my panel and RTMR are mostly made up the choices on plugs are not well defined and since each requires specific awg m/f connectors and matching seals I'm waiting until more of the wire choices have been made. Since I started thinking about this and doing some of the mods my list and how it gets laid out has changed several times and I'd prefer to minimize the extra plugs and connectors. Basically, rats' nest first, then RTMR to the rescue to clean it up. At least I'm going in with an eventual outcome in mind so that each circuit added can be readily tied into the RTMR. The most recent addition is fogs since my base AC has neither the lights nor the harness. Accessing the main grommet is easier without the panel in place so hopefully by the time I'm ready to add in the RTMR I'll no longer need to run wires through the grommet.

Did you just make a bracket for the relays?
