RCI Rack w/ OEM Tonneau?

RCI rack with an OEM tonneau cover... is it doable?

KBvoodoo has some adapters to allow use with a tonneau. But I'm seeing some bad feedback about them. I also wonder if adding such a bracket affects the rated capacity or overall integrity of the rack.

 

What bad feedback have you head about the KBvoodoo Hi Rise crossbars? That's what I was planning on purchasing to work with my Extang Solid Fold.

OP seems a little worked up, but people throughout the thread seem to agree that KB is subpar.

 

I think the KB sets are the only one that work with the OEM tonneau. I saw another thread where the OP got his RCI rack to work with some other cover but it was third party.
