I haven't changed the SD card. But yes I've reformatted a bunch of times. What card are you using?

I was thinking about getting this. Where and how do you have your cameras mounted?

Love my cheap Ebay dash cam that hooks up to the GO-PRO mount! You get tired of the lick & slap on models that fall off every once in awhile....

    Lights, wheels, tires, speakers.

Mine was damaged by a shuttle bus while parked, and I was able to recover $3300 in DV. I found a great appraiser in my area and paid him $200 for a DV appraisal. The at-fault drivers' insurer didn't even try to negotiate, they just sent me a check. I was told this was not common, however, now Baby got some NEW SHOES!

THIS. My brother was rear ended by a Miata. The empty hitch took the whole hit and totaled his truck with only like 9k miles on it. Insurance dragged their ass on it too and it was like 7 months before he got a new vehicle.

    I concur with OP:

This happened less than 48 hours ago.

Other driver was cited on scene by Tempe police and admitted fault.
My insurance (USAA) already had a claims adjuster come out and looks like I'll be getting a replacement for the bent axle, wheel and tire that took the hit.

And then, not more than about 30 minutes ago, a fucking moron on the freeway changed lanes nearly into me and made me swerve, barely hitting another car!
In the goddamn rental I'm driving while my truck's in the shop!

I have one of those mirror cameras that you strap over the existing mirror in the rental car right now. Can't wait to look at that footage...

My nerves are shot to hell.

/I will be contacting the other driver's insurance from the night before last about filing a diminished value claim, though with my truck being 13 years old and having 199,992 miles on it I doubt they'll give me much... but it's better than nothing!

That type accident is death for motorcycle rider.
Nobody pays attention on the road
Although I’m a very defensive driver but that accident looked unavoidable

I've gone over it 100 times in the last two days how I could have gotten out of that and the only answer would I can figure is punching it to thread the needle between both vehicles.

Which we all know ain't happening in a lifted, armored Tacoma rolling on E-load Ko2s! Maybe a supercharger would have helped?

I hope that lady's insurance drops her. That was incredibly dangerous/irresponsible of her to try to follow the first guy without even bothering to check oncoming traffic.
I wish I could have shown the footage to the motorcycle cop. I'm sure he wouldn't have been amused. The battery is toast so it only works if the truck has power.

Here's my cheap-o camera... which replaced my SUPER cheap one that the sun killed last year:

Arizona is becoming a hell hole to drive quickly, I am constantly paranoid and drive overly cautious now especially with my 16 month in the car, And still get in near misses. I got rear ended early June on the 101 and Scottsdale off-ramp by a very young woman that said she just closed her eyes for a second I was heading to work on a Sunday early morning. (yeah right was checking her likes on her insta page) Cop put on record her speed was 60+ coming off and off ramp. Impact was so hard I ended up in a ditch on the side of the off-ramp. I made a promise to myself never to be on phone while driving and iam that guy that tell you to get off your phone when iam a passenger and you're texting and driving. Stay safe people! Now I have a dash cam always recording
