    Oh and also timing advance/retard is a good thing to monitor with your scanner, but that's something I'm still trying to wrap my head around so I can't really explain it lol. I think my timing gets too advanced under acceleration but I'm not really sure yet how to remedy that.

    I'm seeing around 30 which I think is too advanced? I haven't tried a hard WOT throttle pull yet though while monitoring timing, I'll have to see what that looks like.

    I see 30 regularly when driving down the highway tho, not in boost

    Hm, yeah I might be seeing normal numbers then. I've done some reading on the subject but not a whole lot, so it's kind of hard to determine what's normal and what isn't with timing. I think I'll know better when I get a high boost/WOT reading if it's too far off normal or not.

    Let me know, Another member was getting 12-15 at full boost and I thought that was low

    I just changed the TPS sensor. Super easy. The truck was idling a little high. That fixed it and running a lot better. Cleaning everything else during install. I was going to wait but I gotta go to Grand Junction tomorrow and Firt Collins Tuesday.

    I’ll be hitting up Import Sport Performance on that AFR Gauge install. There are tons of wires with that kit. It’s crazy. John’s looks clean and super cool/useful.

    You got the boost/AFR in one? Or a separate AFR gauge?

    My AEM one was just a couple wires if I recall, one going from the gauge to the O2 sensor and one going from the gauge to the fuse panel by my left knee, was pretty easy to do (I'm terrible with wiring). I used an add-a-fuse to connect the gauge to the dashboard fuse so that it turns on/off with the key in the ignition. I imagine the all in one gauge has a lot more to it though.

    I should mention I had to follow a step by step Youtube guide to install it correctly lol. And I had a shop weld the bung in for the O2 sensor since I don't possess that skillset.

    I see low values for my timing advance under boost. (12-15)
    but I just put in a tank of 96 octane so I need to keep a closer eye on it.
    also I'm running the 7th which is pulling some timing..
    not sure what the totals are.

    yeah I heard the 7th does that which is weird that I'm seeing such high timing numbers. I swear there are times where I think my 7th injector hardly actually comes on at all. I really need to tune the damn thing.

    I've never tried 96 octane, I only ever see 91 at our stations and then of course we have a couple racing gas stations in town with 110 octane...but I hear that's also leaded I think, and leaded gas will ruin your catalytic converters

    I believe he’s putting in the PSB-1 that has Boost, Vacuum and AFR all in one like mine.
