3rd gen 4Runner Rear Coil spacer question

So I went ahead and grabbed a set of 1in land cruiser front coil spacers by whiteline. My question in which order should the spacer be installed. The groove in the spacer seemed to work best with spacer between spring and bumpstop. But since I installed them I feel the rear end being way more sloppy in turns. Here is a pic of the order I installed them in.

I did mine the other way around way back when. (IE spacer at the very top) Didn’t have any ill handling issues that I recall? But that doesn’t mean it was “right” either!

Can you set up a camera to catch the suspension motion? I can’t see the spacer placement causing the sloppy feeling you describe. Either the Springs are too soft or the spacer is squishy; either would add some body sway in corners.

Or did you remove the sway bar? Check your connections-I had one of the sway bar to axle mount bolts shear off after I lifted; so the sway bar looked installed but in use it wasn’t actually helping.

 

That’s how it’s made to go as dumb as it seems. The rear end shouldn't feel much different but when you get away from factory geometry shit can get unpredictable. I have a 1.5” spacer on new coils and it handles fine, better that the old worn out shocks and springs. Also if you went with 99 coils you’re at 2” of lift now so your Panhard bar may be starting to work against you also.
