I ended up camping Saturday night, and didnt know it was going to rain. I had to put my tent away wet. Its my worst nightmare. On Sunday I was able to open it for an hour and get my buddy heater inside to try to heat things up.

Anyways, tomorrow is going to be 45 and sunny, and I was going to open it back up and try to dry things out more. Think Ill be ok for 2 days being damp?

Im on my third circuit board. They are junk. Find a different solution IMHO. Its one of the few problems I have had with CVT.

...we looked out over Saline Valley and watched the chaos that was this popular place on a Friday night. Saline Valley Road, North Pass, and Steel Pass were repeatedly illuminated by the army of people making their way to the Warm Springs for the long weekend.

We were glad to be alone up here, away from it all, enjoying the best of what Death Valley has to offer.

Eventually we found ourselves ready for bed - the stars bright above us, and another great day in the books. Except that the day wasn't, quite, in the books. As we climbed up the ladder, I setup the camera for a series of long exposures - and it wouldn't be until later that we could really enjoy the end of this amazing day!

watch us on Steel Pass, and in the even sketchier San Juan Canyon in

They are really inexpensive. I also have incorporated one into helping to keep the cover closed. The velcro that holds the flaps have worn from use over the years. So I added two grommets on each flap, has worked out well so far..

    HELP

I am trying to figure out how to fix the "curve" or "V" in my tent joint.
When the tent is deployed, there is a noticeable "V" when you look at it from the side. When anyone gets in the tent, it flexes down and can pinch hands/feet on the ladder. If I prop the tent up sightly to avoid hurting someone, the tent looks very funny and it feels like the blood rushes to my head when I sleep. Seems like it's pinching or binding or something.
My buddy is having the same problem so I'm sure this is something usual. There must be a fix for it!

    :annoyed::help:

Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

strap it down? On windy days I strap it to my sliders with a ratchet strap. Just a little tension. Dont crank on the ratchet strap like youre trying to tie something down.

No it is not bent. I think the tongue and groove aren't fitting properly.

This are the tongue and groove I'm talking about (this is not my tent).

This is my tent, circled is tongue and groove I'm talking about.

Looks like the same 'tight fabric' issue I had with my old CVT tent. My Tepui seems a little better. I put weight (think clothing bag and anything else up there once I fold the tent open. Since you aren't using the annex, what about running guy wires back to the wheel or to ground anchors?

Thank you for writing this. I haven't had much of a response when I mentioned my stargazer windows not un-zipping/zipping back together properly. I really feel there is some "tight fabric" issue that's causing one of the window zippers to split apart behind the zipper clasp. No solution yet, but happy to know I'm not the only one thinking this!

Of course. I would figure that it will stretch out a bit with use but only time and use will tell.

...Soon enough, we found ourselves high in the Inyo Mountains. This was a spot that I'd fallen in love with as soon as I'd seen a similar photo from a fellow explorer, and I'm happy to say that it didn't disappoint. We arrived just as the sun was setting, a purple hue cast over and area we'd spent the last two days exploring.

Take your mattress out and look at the tongue and groove From the inside with the tent deployed and you’ll be able to see if its mating properly with weight applied
