Maybe, if we get a duplicate set of keys with thick black plastic, it’ll make us at least feel better about the locks? Lol... feels and looks like a mailbox key locking and opening up a safe. Something about it just doesn’t feel “secure”.

So far my absolute favorite mod is this bungee cord that lets me pull stuff from the front.

I installed it. They sent it to me at no cost and for a good reason, so why not? I keep mine locked all the time too.

I have it, it's annoying and does not seem to be necessary, but it's not so bad that I've pulled it out.

while it does limit the opening more and the cables are an extra part to deal with, there surely must have been a reason to design, produce, and ship this for no cost to the end user. I sat on installing it for a while until I got a text from them.

I had my locked front panel pop open on a very rough forest service road and I was grateful the security catch stopped it from opening any further.

I don't. I have a lift in my garage for taking the RTT on and off, then I can use the DB as usual.

No and I won't either. Mine fits snug enough to need a little push to close it and I always make sure it's fully turned/latched. After that it also has the safety catch bar that stops it just a few inches after opening. When this first came out there was discussion on it and someone made the statement that I tend to believe-it was probably brought on by some dip that didn't install the cover correctly or failed to latch it properly and it flipped open so they tried to blame Diamondback for it. Not saying that IS what happened, but in todays world I can surely see it going down like that in some way.
