Looks like you would have to be careful which way you park, the wind could catch it and drag your truck over or take you and your special someone for a ride.

At that price point I'd rather have the Smittybilt. There's a thread about it and it's pretty positive.

$850 seems steep for an asymmetrical, one person wind sock. The frame looks well made, but the hinge points are plastic. I see one good gust of wind either breaking those hinge brackets or deforming the frame where it mounts to them. Almost reminds me of those tailgaiting canopies that disintegrate with a solid gust.

Looks to be a FSR knockoff, or however that works in the tent world.... but just to add something constructive, I made him an offer a while back for $700 and he Countered at $800, so there’s something to think about.

I ordered this same one. after researching it seems like a good way to go for those of us on a budget. Mine is scheduled to arrive Tuesday. I’m pretty stoked to check it out.

edit- I paid around $750 a few days ago. And the price changed several times while it was in my cart.

Put it in your cart and check it everyday. Prices fluctuate. Read through the thread I linked, iirc, 4wheelparts was being said to have good sales on the smitty. And I'm now remembering, Yakima also makes a rtt in this price range that seems to be liked. https://www.amazon.com/Yakima-SkyRi...E1T9WZ9NXY6&psc=1&refRID=HSP06PSFBE1T9WZ9NXY6 . MSRP is $1099, but a quick google search shows retail is around $850. I've been watching and hoping to pick either one up used around $550. My wife and I are considering a move from NJ to Kentucky, and a few nights in this as opposed to a hotel as we make house hunting trips down and it's paid for itself.

Be careful. There's companies that will source the products from China w/o doing a visual verification first. You may be incredibly disappointed with what you get. That's why I went with 23zero. It wasn't cheap but I know what I'm getting.

From what Ive found through some wholesale sources, a lot of these pop up $3000 rtts are just some $600 Chinese ones with “TEPUI” or “Roof Nest” printed on them.

Without using brand names you are somewhat correct. That's why I said be careful. They're nearly all made in China. But some companies allow the bullshit to hit our shores. Some don't.

Yes, I have had mine for a year now, and been through a couple hellacious thunder and rain storms. Stayed dry, but woke up to the awning with a puddle on top. Ok had a Smittybuilt on my Rubicon and loved it, but it took super long to set up compared to this one.

I would definitely say the Voyager is a one person tent. It’s definitely not big enough to sleep two adults though.

Idk if anyone cares, or if anyone will even see this anymore, but Ive been talking to my guys in China and Im going to be buying a pop up tent from the same manufacturer as some name brands for a 3rd of the price.

What Im undecided about is if I should get the 6'2" tent or the 6'10" tent. I think the price is the same.

I have been through several wind-rain-thunder storms with gusts up to 35+, and the Offgrid Voyager has done pretty good in all of it. It does help to put the back side into the wind if you know which direction it’s coming from. I like it better than the Smittybuilt Overland tent, which I owned a few years.
