Why did you flush your fluid? What is the deal with the AT light? Do you have any info on the process?

I am asking because I would like to do a light flush on my trans fluid. I dont know when or if it has ever been touched so I am feeling like the fluid is past the life.

The install was not too bad at all. The hardest part for me was figuring where to put the rear camera. The only wire splice is for the parking option and that gets attached to the reverse lights. I just used a wire splice clip. Yes I do have a factory back up camera but now I have 2. Yes it is basically a plug and play system.

Slowly getting my headlights set-up. Mocked up everything yesterday.

I still want to color match my shrouds, but I need to see how much light will leak out the back of the shroud from the demon eyes. Need to charge my 12v battery's and hook things up.

If too much light is leaking, I'm going to keep it black, because I'll have to build up some epoxy on the housing to stop the light.

And painted and added some custom decals to an acquaintance's RC350 F-Sport AWD. A lot of work. But turned out great.

Finally got enough KM on the rig (50K KM) to do the spark plugs, replaced the air filter as well.

Old plugs looked just as they should have when removed.

No you didn't miss a post but on this part I don't mind sharing prior to its release. They're factory side step drop brackets, lowers the step an inch allowing the entire foot to be put on the step. It's a common complaint of factory Toyota 2nd gen steps. They allow my size 14 foot to get on the whole step instead of just my toes and the front of my forefoot. The aluminum pieces need powdercoat still. They'll come with all of the hardware and install instructions. Most Tacomas don't come with factory side steps but I need to generate income to produce my adjustable seat height risers and I'm positive factory side step owners will love these things - especially in rain or snow country. 3rd gen owners should be able to use them to make their steps 2 steps instead of 1 step which might be helpful to elderly/disabled/lazy (lol). I did all of the work myself to keep my costs and buyers costs down. And of course I'm hoping my hot ex sister in law will demonstrate them for me on a video... hahahaha.

I flushed my transmission because I put my truck into 4WD, turned traction control off, put the gas peddle on the floor and did donuts in 3-4" of mud and wet snow for about 30 minutes. I do dumb stuff like this from time to time. After I was done my truck would not shift out of second gear. So I limped Betty home and started looking on eBay for transmissions. I decided to do a full fluid flush with pan drop first. Ended up costing me around $200 for everything. My tranny is back to about 90% health. I have an occasional hard shift into 3rd gear, especially when its cold. And it hesitates finding reverse. The clutch that controls reverse also controls 4Low.

TW Change your fluid at 60k miles! Especially if your hard on your vehicles like I am. I grew up racing and I have pushed every vehicle to its edge, occasionally I slip over.

    Below is what I followed.

Thanks , and yes the kit comes with the spray gun but doesn't come with a regulator or the male plug to attach to the air hose. (No buggy I had extras).

Another tip, when I built my plastic booth I just taped it to the floor. Next time I will lay some old 2x4s arround on the floor to walk on, the over spray that lands on the floor sheet makes your shoes stick to the plastic really bad. Nearly had a mess when it started to pull my sheets arround.
