Talked to the guys at ECGS. Ones in the way and I’ll gladly pass it to the next Toyota guy, or gal, that needs it.

How is it going my Columbus Ohio brethren (staying healthy I hope)?? I am pretty new to Tacoma World, and this is my first post, but it has proven a useful tool! Was wondering if any of you had recommendations on where to get tacoma parts within Columbus, or a website that has been pretty reliable when it comes to shipping to Ohio! Also if you have any recommendations on shops that would be stellar! Thanks so much and hope to interact more within this community! Cheers!

Welcome, Jake. 4 Wheel Parts is a pretty good place to get aftermarket Tacoma parts.

I just wanted to send a positive shout out to Deke's Auto Tech in Newark, Ohio -- https://dekesauto.com/ -- I'm on a road trip from TX to PA to visit my brother for a few weeks, and the starter in my Sequoia decided to give out. They were extremely helpful -- replaced the starter -- and helped us get on our way. These Toyota starters aren't easy to get to -- and w/o my tools and garage in TX with the snow coming down it wasn't something I could tackle. We were all expecting a larger bill, but they got in and replaced it quicker than thought and only billed us for their time. It was a super positive experience so if you're in the area and need a reliable shop I'd definitely consider this group.

So which one of you Columbus folks got new wheels and tires installed on their Taco Pro this past Saturday? I'm assuming you had new wheels and tires put on, because you had a bed full of another set of wheels and tires. I passed you on 70 EB near Brice Rd.

    Just sayin', "Hello!"

    currently have OEM's for 2021 SR5...16"

I have narrowed my choices down to:

American racing Outlaw 2's for the classic 4x4 look

    outlaw.jpg

or Method Nv's for a more modern look
    met2.jpg
    metnv.jpg

they will be wearing 265 to 285/70 or 75 16's in either:
    x
    Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S's
    Dick Cepek Trail Contry EXP's
    Hankook Dynapro AT2's

Nice. I know they're not trendy, but I have always loved those first wheels. I'm up in Lewis Center so I will keep an eye out for ya.

cool...live in Dublin/C-bus down by Don Scott

and that is why I like them...not trendy, and they remind me of my uncles Jeeps back in the 70's...we would go mudding and tumbling down hills in the Hocking Hills...he had those on all of his Jeeps

As we get closer to spring, it would be nice to do a Central Ohio meet-n-greet.

I'm off work this week hopped up on pain meds for a fractured tooth and watching off road videos on YouTube waiting to go out again. These days I see more people posting on the various Facebook pages than here on the forums, but totally worth it to check both.
