    Hey everyone!

Does anyone know of a name brand and part# that is very close to match the quicksand color other than the OEM paint correction?

Take your trucks paint code to a local paint store and they can mix it into a can for you. Well at least my local paint land and a few others can.

I just got some Duplicolor from Amazon for my BR. It matches really well. I even used it to paint the Matchbox version of mine.

    IMG_20200413_085122.jpg

I have more work to do there!

The only problem is that you might want a neutral primer if working on black parts like the bumpers. Mine needed several coats to cover it up.

I got it a couple years back. It was already at stupid prices for a Matchbox, but it was an ACLB with the Skewp. So . . .

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1T60NF/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_vGnMEbPE11JQE

Shit! I thought I paid too much at $13.

QS with the vintage stripes was cool. Also, the heavy paint hid a lot of details in the mold.

Love this one, but $59? Is it a limited edition matchbox to justify that price?

Thanks for the input, I will look into it and see how much is going to be for the spray can.

LoL! No. Just a standard $1 one that is difficult to find.

I'm sort of stoked that I grabbed mine when I did.

There used to be someone in eBay who sold these painted in all the factory colors. I don't remember the prices for those. Certainly more than $13.

Nice thanks for the info! Do you have the code number for the gloss khaki? Is typically on the bar code.

Don't forget a can of clear coat as well with whatever paint you choose.
