I have the oem fogs from my 20 trd sport for sale. Perfect shape, came off around 2200 miles when I upgraded to diode dynamics SS3s

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer my questions. The way I plan to wire my switch is the same as you wired yours. bagelboy’s suggestion above to add a 10k resistor in place of the resistor on the board is good if you want to dim the LED. If you don’t want to solder, splicing an in-line resistor like you said is fine, a 4.7K to 5.6k in-line resistor should work if your resistor is the same as my smaller Mictuning switch, mine has two LEDs one for the fog light text, one for the bulb symbol, each has a 4.7K resistor in series with the LED.
If your resistor is only 1K then a 10k should work.

If I didn’t already have a like new set of fogs I got from 3rd gen Marketplace I would be talking to you. You might put it up there, sooner or later someone with an SR wanting fogs will want them!

I would if I hadn't already installed the switches.

I have 5 switches, so one resistor on the power line over by the headlight switch will be a lot faster than pulling out each switch with dental floss on the center console.

Smart! If I find out my LEDs are too bright I’ll do the same, one inline resistor in the dash power to switch circuit.

OEM fog light mod done on my SR access cab utility long bed, used a modified version of Nitori’s SR OEM fog light mod. Thanks to Nitori and a lot of others posting in this thread, it helped a lot.

I was able to access everything needed for the separate switch OEM mod interior wiring simply by removing the left switch panel, no need to take off lower dash panel or kick panel. Used the cargo/deck light connector white/black stripe wire for ground, since it already goes to ground, made it easier. Used cargo/deck light green wire socket for LED illum +, tan wire socket for LED illum -. Everything works as designed for OEM style, fog light symbol on dashboard lights up when fog light button is pressed with low beams on, fog lights turn off when high beams are on. Also modified the Mictuning Fog Light switch circuit board (has a DPDT switch) so that the upper bulb symbol will illuminate when the button is pushed to turn on the fogs (lower "Fog Light" text comes on whenever the dash lights are on).
    Mictuning switch Used:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G1QZ6MS?ie=UTF8

How I wired Mictuning switch connector:
Green: – M6 Main Body ECU connector pin 26 (see Nitori's write-up on page 1 for how to add the repair wire pin 26 to the connector)
Red (1) w/yellow stripe closest to green wire: Ground, I connected to cargo/deck connector white with black stripe wire, which already goes to ground
Red (2) w/yellow stripe closest to black wire:cargo/deck connector Green wire (Illum+, for LED power)
Black Wire: cargo/deck connector Tan wire (Illum-, for LED power)
**Update: I have now replaced the switch with a larger form factor CH4X4 fog light switch, it’s wired the same as above. See this post:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nitoris-oem-sr-foglight-mod.451495/page-21#post-23754835 **
You can use Posi Taps or T-taps for connecting to the cargo/deck connector wires if your cargo/deck connector is being used. Since my cargo/deck connector was not being used, I had positaps on hand, but decided to use 2.8 mm male spade lugs (which I had to compress the width to make narrower with needle nosed pliers to get them to plug into the female connector sockets):
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYTWTE2?ie=UTF8

Note: Even without modifying the Mictuning switch circuit board, it will still work fine as wired above, only the switch top bulb symbol will not illuminate when button is pressed because the OEM method takes pin 26 to ground when the button is pushed so you get 0V to your top LED since it’s connected to the output of the same switch. Your fog lights will come on and your dash fog indicator symbol will illuminate and that's all that really matters.

Took a lot of pics of the install, here are a few.

If anyone in central Florida has done this mod and wants to make a few extra bucks let me know! Sadly wiring isn't nor has ever been my thing...

Check out AirOnBoard. They make switches that match the OEM blue pretty well. Also good quality. Even illumination, good brightness. The light blue ones seem to fluctuate in and out of stock, so if they don’t have them, give it a couple weeks

I know how that goes! I just got my final switches in from them. I think before I start installing everything, I will do a post comparing switches, kind of a PSA for people looking at their different options.

It doesn't look like they carry the larger style fog switch that fits in the single large hole on the left panel in the cornflower blue. I'll email them and ask.

Yeah, I don't think they do. Just the smaller ones. Sorry, didn't realize you were looking for the larger ones.

Another thread recommended the air on board switches that are the light blue, but their website seems to show they illiminate when they are activated. Isn't this what you wanted?

I'll let you know when mine show up.

I ordered 4 of the smaller ones, there is only one tall switch in the 2020 Tacoma on the left side where the cubby is on most tacos. I'm not sure what thats normally used for.

The small fog light switches with blue led’s weren’t in stock when I contacted them a month ago. Most (all?) of the aftermarket switches with both text and fog light symbol are designed illuminate the led for text with dash light power, however the fog symbol LED is illuminated When the button is pressed by power going through the same switch that picks up the relay and that will work fine if you’ve wired to a relay. However with the Nitori OEM mod, the switch takes pin 26 to ground so you get 0V to the top led so it won’t illuminate (you will get the dash fog light symbol on). The OEM ECU senses pin 26 going low 0V and a separate circuit then sends power to the fog light relay to turn the fog lights on.
The only way a switch can turn the switch fog symbol on for the OEM mod is for it to have two separate contacts, one for the pin 26 to ground logic and one just for the upper LED. Don’t think anyone has this design so I modified the Mictuning DPDT switch to do just that.

Ahaha true, and if they were DPDT I might could modify those as well. Got a link to AOB “cornflower blue” small fog switches? I only saw the larger switch style in what looked like a purplish blue when I looked just now. My Mictuning switch looks bluer than that one (see my picture in post above):

Yeah I looked at those they seem good but for the Nitori SR OEM fog light mod they would have the same issue I noted above for the OEM fog light application I think since they use an electronic switch. I wouldn’t be able to modify that one like I was with the Mictuning DPDT switch to make the upper bulb symbol illuminate with the Nitori OEM SE fog light mod. I’m happy with it.

I just installed my fogs about 2 weeks ago, opted for the push switch instead of the stalk.
