For some reason interior mods tend to be my favorite, just the challenge of finding an almost OEM option to modifying your rig appeals to me, so for most of these interior mods, I'll try to keep it factory looking yet functional.

I finally dedicated a charger to my truck and found a pretty cool routing option that's only semi permanent. Little magnets attach to the wire and then stick to their base-plate that's been 3m taped to the dash. That way I can keep the cable out of the way when not in use.

Also forgot I added this a couple weeks ago! No functionality at all... just a little splurging for the truck :notsure:

Some more interior "mods" I've done in the last couple weeks

Hated how unorganized and thrown around everything was so I came up with a halfway decent organization method for my gear I keep in the console.

Generic flashlight, "emergency knife" and my air down kit for easy access
Also a small IFAK type first aid kit and my carry gun when it's not on me or I can't take it somewhere and needs a safe spot

Everything's got Velcro attached to it to keep it from sliding and getting tossed around. Gun is held in place with a heavy duty magnet that attracts the slide of the gun (even through the kydex of my holster) so when not in use there's not much space being taken up

Also added a little 3 AAA powered light for a better lighting option to see inside the console (also attached with Velcro to the top of the armrest)

Went searching for some local camping sights near Cedar Breaks. Think I found one that wont be accessible to the local Subarus and motor homes ;)

We have a legit USPSA club up in SLC if you ever wanna come up. Of course finding the ammo for a match is the hardest part these days...

If it weren't for ammo prices in all the post apocalypse panic everyone's caused I'd have started shooting again recently, but I'll wait it out until prices level off again :annoyed:

I just noticed your location, super jealous of the type of mountain biking you can get out there. I would highly recommend a console safe if you are stowing a gun in there, last thing you want is a tweaker breaking in to your truck for some quarters and them finding your firearm.

Hit me up if you're ever in the bay area and I'll show you some good mtb!

99% of the time the gun stays with me, but the few times I cant bring it it stays in the truck. I'm currently looking into a way to lock the lid of the console just for a better piece of mind something like this. Now I know it's not the best option but I'm considering it for now.

On the other note, I'll be sure to hit you up! I actually just got back from San Diego last weekend and got some sweet riding in down there.

Doubled back to the spot I scouted out last week for a solo one nighter. Needless to say this my new favorite local spot. And no one even close by! Really itching to get a legit offroad trip going

Well the semester is now complete, and my check-ride went well! I am now officially a certified pilot which is pretty crazy to me.

    20200816_202304[1].jpg

Now that I'm done, it frees up some time for a trip!! All packed for a few day excursion in Telluride.

Well Telluride proved to be an unbelievable trip. Emogene pass has been a life long bucket list item for me, so to say it was incredible to reach the peak and finally be up there would be watering it down. 3 ridiculous days of MTB and some exploring with the rig made it a perfect getaway for post semester celebrations.

Coverkings finally came in today, install wasn’t bad but highly recommended you remove the seats to really work the material on and get a halfway decent fit. Not sure if I like the fit being as there’s a little bit of a gap from the cover to the back of the seat where your back lays. We’ll see how they do this get time though :notsure:

Well this week has been a busy one! after getting back from Telluride I noticed a nail in the driver side rear tire, as well as my passenger rear tire continuously going low 2 days after filling it up and with tread being about 1/16th of an inch from the wear indicators that justified me some new tires..... so on go the 285/75/16!!! Decided that the Falken wildpeak A/Ts would be a good medium for what I need out of a tire. Long on road life, great off-road performance, and a good look for the obvious cool points

    Heres tires installed Pre CMC

    20200826_121255.jpg

Some CMC action shots all done by Thomas at Fabn801 here in southern UT. We ditched a ton of unnecessary material to clean it up and give it a good and custom look :welder:

Heres the aftermath with the pinch weld relief cut and BFH mod. Also trimmed the fenders inside to stop the rub. I'll need to fine tune the trimming as I catch more rubbing

    20200826_140723.jpg

Also did the "fit this big ass full size spare in the small ass factory spot" mod which required the exhaust pipe chop mod. Needless to say we cut A LOT this day :sawzall:

Thomas at fabn801 does custom rock crawler buggies, so naturally I had to snap some pics of the chassies he had in progress and one of the completed rigs. These things are BEEFY
