    Hey @Icon_Adrian ,

I have a couple of questions about rebuilding a pair of Ext. Travel 2.5 IFP Coilovers for the '04 Tacoma. I believe this is the part number: 58615

    • Is there a exploded view diagram of all the parts with part numbers? I'm looking to replace a few parts on the coilover but have no idea what the correct part number or nomenclature would be.
    • What spring lengths and rates are offered for this coilover? I believe the original one installed was a 600 lb/in coil and this one was swapped for a "650lb/in" rate at 13" of length, but I'm not sure. Will any spring with a 3" ID and 13" unsprung length work?
    • Could I refinish the coil spring? The finish of the spring is all but gone at this point and replaced with surface rust. If so, what would you recommend for finishing?

    Hello,
We don't have rebuild literature available but I help you out with I can help you with any info you may need.
    Standard production spring is a 13" x 650lb (158504) and we offer a 14" x 700lb (158508)
The springs are powder coated and seems to be the best option for long term.

    Thank you.

    Thanks!

So the plan is to rebuild these coilovers, which came off a 1st gen Tacoma and install on a 3rd gen 4runner. These should swap in without issue correct? I think the 1st gen Tacomas and 3rd gen 4Rnners have the same front suspension setup.

Another question, how about a part number for the lower shock mount spacer (The halved bolt sleeve adapter)?

Thanks! Do you know what the part number for the top hat mount is? I found 157012 on another rebuild thread, but couldn't find it on the icon website so maybe it changed?

@Icon_Adrian , questions about filling the nitrogen. Do you offer a different valve for filling the nitrogen, like a shrader or similar that does not require the needle adatper fittings. If not, could you tell me what type of thread the fill valve fastens into?

We do have Schrader assemblies available as well. They utilize a -4 oring port that is standard on remote reservoir applications. On Non-remote apps a charge port is used due it's low profile for tight spaces.

I'll add it and the charge port to the list:

    Adjuster Nut:
    257501 - 2.5 ADJUSTER NUT 3.0 ID COIL

    Adjuster Nut Set Screw:
    605014 - 5/16-18 X 0.500 NYLON TIP SHSS 18-8 RAW

    Upper Mount:
    157012 - 96-04 TOYOTA CO MOUNT

    Upper Mount Bolt:
    605334 - 1/2-13 X 2.250 12 PT FLANGED CAP SCREW 190KSI BLKZINC

    Upper Mount Hiem Spacers:
    257151 - HEIM SPACER COM10 X .500 X 1.250 CZINC

    -4 Schrader Assembly:
    254135 - ICON -4 STANDARD SCHRADER ASSEMBLY W CAP

    -4 Charge Port Assembly:
254130 - ICON CHARGE PORT ASSEMBLY W/ SCREW

@Icon_Adrian , Is there a torque spec for the 1/2" top mount bolt? Any thread locker used?
