This looks really good! Maybe I should just dust off the saw and try out making my own.

Looks good man, I actually was on the list for a Moller rack but canceled my order. Kinda regret it now.

One thing I wish I would have done which would have made it a lot easier is to use cardboard templates. Use the cardboard to get the size right and hole locations and you should be good to go. I had to open up some holes and use giant washers because my hole locations were slightly off. Hit me up if you have any questions.

Can I get either of you to measure the distance from the back wall to the edge of the opening for the compartment? I'm trying to see if my fridge will fit sideways and keep that compartment usable or if I need to mount it fore/aft.

My dometic 35 fits behind the drivers seat with quite a bit of room still

I can measure tomorrow whatever you need.

I've got the 55IM which is 17.91". They seem to have already purged your version from the site but the CFX3 35 is 15.67"

I'm hoping to be able to mount it lengthwise against the back wall and leave a gap for the dog to get to the window. With my current setup she has to put her paws on it to get to the driver's window.

I just ordered the Goose Gear delete for my access cab. I have a Snomaster 42L fridge which I recently traveled with. I tried to set it on one of the rear seats, but it was too high to easily open the fridge's lid, and then with the seat up I had to have the passenger seat too far forward. With the delete the fridge will sit low and also with removing the seats, the fridge will also sit against the rear seat.

I've looked at Goose Gear several times at both Overland Expo west and east and it looks like it's quality built.

My next addition is a dual battery to power the fridge when the engine is off.

I replaced my main battery with a 27f AGM and have been running off just a single battery for a quite some time. Most people dont need a dual battery system unless you are staying in one location for an extended period of time.

And even then a solar setup would be a better use of weight and funds.

That's pretty steep. $800 without the infill panels? Why bother with locking latches?

My Goosegear showed up Friday so I installed it this weekend in my TRD OR AC. These must mostly get installed by shops or they just haven't sold many as there were no instructions. But I just did test fits and figured it out. Under the floor pieces, Goosegear uses aluminum rails for attaching the walls to (there are two walls per side that support the floor over foot areas), and I had to loosen one aluminum rails to fit one of the two walls on the floor. It's really well designed and the walls can easily be adjusted/ moved around.

I did use this thread on how to remove the rear seats which was helpful.

The floor was well packaged within a shipping box.

    Pjaf64_320a7aed53991a0d3a846328f07b71b7d79c877e.jpg

There were extra bolts, and in fact the provided bolts that go in the back corners holes of the cab (that were used by the seats) were not long enough or the right size? However the floor is well secured in the center and not going anywhere. I will look for longer bolts that do fit at Lowes!

Anyway, the fit and finish is perfect and it looks great! You can buy/ install just one side or both. If you do buy/ install both sides, there is a plate that bolts between the two sides for added structure.

There are plenty of additional holes they've put in around the floor to attach whatever you about anywhere that you want. That's a nice option, however if you bolt on something on top of the floor, there goes access to the storage compartments.

The storage compartment's locked doors are nice and easy to use and I like at least option to lock them. Of course if someone has enough time, they'll just take an axe to it!

I also did test fit my Snomaster 42L fridge. It fits perfectly with a few inches of room around it for air flow. The lid opens just fine (and the lid easily slides off if needed). I am going to install a dual battery system next. Although yes the starter battery can power the fridge overnight, however I have land that I'm going to be often camping on and I may need to power the fridge more than just overnight between starting my Tacoma.

From experience with having this same fridge in a Jeep that I also own that does have a dual battery setup, a Group 34 AGM will power the fridge for two plus days (depending on outside temperatures, etc.).

There is plenty of open room on the other side. A dog bed will probably go here!

Nice job, yeah some instructions would be nice. I put mine together so the ends would be open, for long stuff.FBDD8623-EBFF-42C1-9ABA-2A70102A6BEB.jpg83C78B0A-5566-4AB9-B48F-11329D764544.jpg

I’ve been really happy with my setup. I had no use for the jump seats and wanted the space for the dog and gear.

I actually wish I had a back like yours, I pulled my seats out, but I don't like the look of the back of the seats being part of the wall if that makes sense.

i hear ya. When I ordered mine, they didnt have the kit with option to leave the seat backs. I probably would have still gone this route for maximum space but Toyota charges an arm and a leg for that utility panel.
