Any discount codes? Or should I wait for a potential black Friday sale?

Perfect, yeah I think I can wait two weeks. So Corolla version (link above), w/ Canbus, OBD2 adapter, and purchase a separate Scosche kit from Amazon. Anything else?

Any luck for a recommendation for maintenance log? My one hesitation to switching from an OEM headunit is being able to log all my maintenance items with mileage counter. Other than that I hate everything about the stock head unit.....

I use fuelio on my phone and headunit to track that stuff.

You can actually get away without the scosche kit, you just need to use some masking tape to pull the headunit into the bezel. I will make a video tomorrow showing how its done.

Purchased on sale, keep me updated on that masking tape trick or any last minute purchases I may need for the install.

Also, how are the shipping times from Joying? No rush just curious from your experience.

Derp, forgot to take that video.

but, mine shipped out and showed up within a week of me ordering. I think when you order expensive electronics from china, they ship them a little better/faster than when you order cheap little crap.

Read through this whole thread and wondering.. Has anyone bought the updated version of this and are there still issues with JBL? I was looking at another thread for this unit and supposably the px6 has been being used with the JBL without issue. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ay-wireless-and-oem-audio-plus.620897/page-68 . I like the joying unit better with the factory ish look + the 4g-lte and better in the price department as well but obviously want to get what works..

How'd your install go? Thinking about doing this on my 2017 TRD Sport.

Follow up on screen protector to improve visibility with polarized sunglasses:
After a bit of back and forth with Nushield, I am happy to report a positive result!
They added the Joying head unit to their product listings here: https://www.nushield.com/order_now.php
And for around $20, it's absolutely worth it.
See the screen shot for specifics on what I ordered.
    Customer service was exceptional.

I'm sorry, but which it are you referring to?
The screen protector or the anytime backup cam?
I used the anytime backup cam yesterday to avoid a large boulder while wheeling in Ocotillo Wells, CA. Works fine. very convenient. A little overpriced. Image resolution is not great and when it gets hot I get horizontal lines through the image.
