It's best to disconnect the battery or pull the dome circuit fuse.

I agree with this. I did not disconnect the battery and blew the dome circuit fuse when installing. Not difficult to replace the fuse and I always have a pack of spare fuses, but I would disconnect the battery in the future. Have not had any problems with the LED lights since then.

Frye seems like a decent price for the whole kit, gonna give these a shot.

+1 for the Fyre. Had them about a year. Super bright and work really well.

OK, so I just got an in stock notification email on the meso lights, but they’re out of stock. Did they really go out that quickly?

I've always used superbrightleds.com. Never had a problem with any of their lights. Put the Sylvanias in my wife's car, and they sucked. Their top-level bulb is rated at less power and lumens. Go figure.

Another vote for MESO. I have the white Dome, and that by itself, is plenty bright to lighten up the cabin. I thought white map lights would be overkill, so I got the red ones instead. That gives a nice combo that dumbs down the brightness some. So far so good, love them, super easy install and have held up great.

I bought some LED bulbs for my headlights through Diode Dynamics, and when I was on the website, just threw in some LED bulbs for the vanity mirrors for cheap. They've worked super well also, and are very bright!

prime delivered today and installed already, really like the upgrade, good amount of light without being unreasonably bright. Glad I saw this thread, good value for sure.

Now I kinda want to do something with my lows and tail lights. Any other good buys like that?

Yep, white is really bright and can impede night vision, red is friendlier at night. I got all red, front and back. Love them!

I got these as well, and they are amazing. I was interested in the Meso options, but they were out of stock and seemed like overkill, though well thought out and pretty nice.

Very happy with the way I went, and would do it over again.

Update: I had to reverse mod back to OEM bulbs for the visors and passenger side map light. If you don’t advise your passenger to look down before turning on the light, you can temporarily blind them!!!

I just purchased/installed the Diode Dynamics LED's in cool white. I love them and think they are perfect, not too bright but much better than stock. The lighting doesn't look yellow/cheap anymore.
They were supper easy to install, even for a girl:thumbsup:

Here is a nice kit that works very well. Here is a thread about how to integrate the two panels for one assembly in the dome. The dome, vanity, and map lights are top notch. The rear lights for the tags are in a tight spot but can be negotiated.

Best of all...it is in stock...
