Keyless entry

Hi all,i had this question in mind,if my truck didnt come with any alarm or keyless entry setups,would it be possible to add an aftermarket one?Ive tried looking for oem but they’re rare and expensive,so all im looking to get now is a keyless entry,im getting tired of having to unlock my door with the key.Any recommendations?

 

My buddy has a Viper alarm with the option for keyless entry. It works very good considering he never had keyless entry before, though he did have power locks.

 

Did your truck come with power door locks? If so, this was pretty easy to add...and only $20. The writeup is for a 2nd gen, the same idea would work for 1st gen but wire colors and connector locations are probably different.

I purchased from Amazon and installed the keyless entry from Banvie.
Here is the daigram I made for wiring it to my 2001.
