Anyone had any bad experiences with an aftermarket lower intermediate shaft failing, or wearing down prematurely, particularly if you spend a lot of time off road?

Or any good experiences after driving with a particular brand for some time?

    OEM part: 45203 - 04021

The same shit everyone else has.
I found the highest rated on on eBay and purchased it. 2+ years going strong.

I wouldn’t dream of putting an aftermarket part on something as crucial as a steering component...just my .02 — OEM all the way.

I got to look at a Dorman and an OEM steering shaft side by side at one of our customer shops. Yikes! The Dorman part looked like a toy. The shaft diameter was probably 20% thinner. No thank you on a critical safety item.
