Got the hood scoop wrapped in 3M Satin Black today!
Super please with the end result and very happy to have it done before we drive 1700 miles with glare in my eyes. This Barcelona Red is beautiful but it sure does glare!

I know when I installed mine it wouldn’t click into place properly. I found I had to shave a bit of the plastic off inside the little eyelets on it to get everything to snap in place properly.

Did you align it properly? There is a notch or some kind of marker pointing out the top.

May I ask where you found the HPS pipe for $50?

I believe so. I watched the videos about 5 times while I was doing it. If I recall it was really only one of the eyelets that wouldn’t fully seat. Tried taking it off and rotating it to other positions (going against what the video told me) to see if it could be an issue of orientation. But in the end everything fit flush as the video indicated, except for the one little tab not catching the one eyelet properly, so I shaved the opening of that eyelet a bit bigger and it snapped into place securely. Maybe I did it wrong, but it sits flush and is secure, so….
Here’s a pic of mine. Looks good to me.

I think he was referring to the intake accelerator not the hps pipe

Sorry. I will correct my post. The TRD air flow accelerator was $50 Cdn.

Scratched the bumper on a rock a while back and used that as an excuse to grab one of these Avid guards. I was debating on this or a Hybrid winch bumper for the price but didn't want to cut the bumper at all. So far I am very happy with it

Awesome! Let us know how you like it? Honestly the diameter from the picture looks almost the same to me. Let me know if it makes a difference

It was simple, which surprised me it took over two years of people asking before someone did it.

    wanna be mods
Knocked out a bunch of lighting stuff, including some MESO items I had on the garage shelf.

Utilized TW's own DIR and brake light tap harnesses while installing MESOs Total Tail Lights - Stage 1. DIR is legit 20210819_221519.jpg

Also found the Ultimate Turn Signals while cleaning out some boxes from the garage, so I threw them on, too. 20210819_193446.jpg

I recently did the same but added Velcro to the console to mount it a little higher.

Curious- Does the console interfere with unholstering when/if you need to draw quickly? It seems like it would be too close to the center console and thusly be in the way of getting your hand around the grip- which is why I have yet to do this and instead keep it on my person.
