I currently have a dual compressor under my hood with the ARB PCM. It sits above my driver-side front wheel. From the PCM I want to run poly air lines to the front bumper and rear bumper. What are my options to run poly lines to couplers without using the ARB braided steel lines?

I recently made a simple polyurethane extension hose for @WrecklessAbandon . Standard 1/4NPT couplers that he used to put an external connector on his front bumper.

Fabbing hoses is a piece of cake. A lot of info here:

    You're welcome!

There's a lot of ways to attack it.

Found out I was misunderstood. I'm trying to run poly lines under the truck to a coupler. Your link is still useful though because after, I'll be making a dual splitter. lol

Yes. But like I said, there is info about fabbing lines in thread. You're not going to likely use a single premade line to make your run(s) work.

IMHO, poly is easy to work with and is durable. I'm not a fan of PVC and higher grade rubber was more expensive than I wanted to work with.

The inflator hoses for the wheels are the same process and fun to do.

In my truck I used DOT airline used for airbrakes along with push to connect fittings. Due to the heat created by compressing air you’ll wanna make sure that you’ve got 12” to 18” of stainless braided line coming out of your air compressor before you go into running your plastic lines. The airbrake line is a little more money over the poly (if I’m thinking of the same stuff) but worth it for heat and abrasion resistance.
I ran my lines down the passenger side frame rail from under the hood and protected it with DEI heat shielding in the same spots that the factory lines were protected.

Where did you source the DOT line?

your local fluid power distributor will stock most 1/4"- 5/8" OD DOT tubing, and compression or push-in style ends.

he right also, DOT tubing is has a higher temp rating, more oil and chemical resistance, and better UV resistance,,,, than commonly used polyethylene (what many call "poly tubing").

Do you know if the push pull fittings are specific for the DOT tubing? Or, can I keep the existing fittings?

I am not sure what type of fittings you have,,, BUT industry standard is- tubing is measure by OD, so a push-on style has a collet and o-ring designed to bite and seal the OD of the tubing. A compression style (what you usually see at the hardware store) will have a ferrule that will crush on the OD of the tubing,,,, so either style will work. To answer your question; your existing should be GTG.
A note on push-in style fittings- since the internal collet actually bits the tubing, you should technically cut that small portion off and use a new clean piece, should remove and want to reconnect. Does anyone do it? No,,,, but just giving you tips to a more secure and leak free solution.
Actual DOT fittings, either style connect the same way, but have other adders (mainly testing) to give them the official DOT stamp.

This is what I did, I love it. I would recommend not do this unless you enjoy talking to random guys on the trails. This one install has been the best way to pick up dudes.
