Seriously, I miss Lobster Kadobster…
Cajun boiled lobster is pretty tasty, but honestly steamed is the way to go.

 

Grilled. There is no other way to cook lobster.

Steamed is one step above microwaving it.

 

That just means it was steamed too long...it should have a "snap" to the meat if it's steamed correctly...

 

Ever since I was a kid, I ate my Sloppy Joes over rice. Made an adult version with lamb beef and veal. Deglazed with wine, etc.

Visiting my daughter this week, she asked for carne asada tacos with chimichurri sauce. Who am I to say no to my recent college grad as of Saturday! So…went to work with her new cooking utensils to my best ability and turned out some great dinner…even if I set the smoke alarm off in her apartment! Oooooopss..

 

Excellent work. You need to check the smoke alarms every now and then

 

Maine - we boil 'em. Funny enough - the lobster on the Maine license plates are bright red. That means it's been cooked.

Oooo over rice sounds good. I have a can of sauce in my cabinet I haven't known what to do with it. Sounds like I might be making this.

Add an egg, make it a loco moco spinoff.

I made this exactly per this recipe over the weekend. Made sandwiches out of it with cuban bread and extra sharp white cheddar cheese in a sandwich press. A little prepared horseradish on the bread. Delicious.

The braising liquid is very salty, but the meat isn't. I'll probably replace the au jus packet with low salt beef broth next time.

 

I gotta ask.. did you use salted or unsalted butter?
and that recipe says to season the roast with salt and pepper.. which the original does not.

The original recipe was very specific about not adding any extra liquid either.. so adding the whole jar of pepper AND the liquid?
