Blackout package - planned: black bed logos, black wheel vinyls, front seat window tint, tires.
No pics and not today, but in the last couple weeks:
    • I got the body/cab mount squeak issue fixed
    • installed a 3rd party bed step
    • added Seat Jacks to the passenger seat
    • installed smoked, sequential side mirror turn signals
    • had the OTT tune done to lite/mild on Saturday.

How are you liking the OTT light/mild so far? I'm getting mine done the weekend after next. I'll be going with the light/mild as well.

I've only driven less than a hundred miles or so, but so far, I couldn't be happier.

My thoughts are, in lite mode, it drives exactly like it should have off the lot...much better throttle response from a dead stop, no lag when turning corners, and 0 gear hunting. Mild is a bit jumpy off the start and more responsive. I'm sure I could have gotten used to that if I had it done for the non-ECT mode, but what I chose works perfectly for me.

    I think you'll love it.

Thanks for the feedback! That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for in this tune.

Loaded my truck on Amtrak Auto Train and went to Florida!

(Dummy me missed them loading and unloading my truck… smh). IIRC… Amtrak size limit is 214” long, 84” tall, 84” wide (0/S mirrror to mirror). If I remove the trailer hitch ball the DCSB measured 211” front plate holder to rear bumper.

Replaced my icon add-a-leaf yesterday with the icon rxt option 3. When I pulled out of the garage to clean up and go got a test drive I seen a single drop of oil on the floor from the front of the truck. I crawled under and my drivers cv input seal is leaking pretty bad, like surprised there was only 1 drop. I did do the ECGS bushing last spring time area. So now new project for today if Toyota has a seal in stock.

Used to live off of Rayford and 45 - close to an old freedman's town called Tamina. I'd imagine real estate developers have bought that area out and put homes on it. Any way - There is something about the way a N. Houston neighborhood pic looks. The homes, the grass, the sky coloration. Takes me back. Taco looks great too but the rest of that pic is dripping with nostalgia for me. Thank you.

Not too sure how long ago you lived here but the Goode Company Cantina right where Tamina Rd turns into Research Forest is the best.

A lot is getting developed north of Houston but they have done great of making sure it still is spread out. Even Willis is starting to get the big box grocery stores.

They don't have the Blind spot monitor lights.
Just the extra blind spot mirror.

Couple random ones this weekend, but I'm all about the details:
Installed my Midland MXT275 GMRS radio under the drivers seat, com handle sits near the shifter out of the way. I also installed their 6dB extended antenna to my VRS rail at the end of my tailgate (rooftop was much too tall for my garage)

    IMG_0665.jpg

3D designed and printed some custom quick release mounts for my HF Apache long case on my Prinsu, this way I can easily take it down, pull two pins and off it comes. I also mounted my traction boards up there as well, this was a kit from Amazon with the quick release lockable screw down pins.

Definitely a good proof of concept for the case mounts.
But I would think you might want something more robust for holding your case. Maybe having multiple mounts going length wise down the case. Or making them wider and out of metal.
For me I would be worried about sudden side to side movement when driving, hitting a hard bump, emergency braking, and also UV damage.

it's printed out of 100% infill CF and the roof rack itself flexes if I pull on the case. I've got various other mounts across my truck that hold plenty of weight with no issues. My bed bars have 3D printed risers that have held up to multiple uses of camping with 500+ lbs on them with my RTT and people in it, also my awning has custom quick release mounts printed out of the same material. To each his own, but this isn't something flimsy, because the last thing I want is something flying off my truck.

Left in 2010 - everything behind that Home Depot was dirt roads, forest and stock tanks. I think there was a rock quarry out near Chateau Woods.
