    Hi all,
Just got my truck about a week ago, and I’m trying to get it into programming mode so that I have more than one fob without having to go to the dealership.

I have the master (black not grey) key, I’ve done the open and close door and key in and out procedure more than a dozen times now with no luck

I found some threads saying to disconnect and reconnect the door lock module under the glove box, I took it all apart and couldn’t find the white box the were talking about (yes I took off that black plastic piece to look straight in) I then tried to pull the door lock fuse and check it, it is fine, then I tried disconnecting the battery with all the doors closed and waiting ten minutes and reconnecting it and trying the procedure again to no avail.

any help would be much appreciated

Its probably because it has reach its limit. You will have to do the sequence to reset all fobs & start from scratch. It could be at the max number of fobs programmed. You may not be able to add another one till you delete them all.

Ive just tried doing the procedure for overwriting fobs(rewrite) as you’ve suggested, and I also tried the procedure for confirmation.

unfortunately I haven’t had any luck, nothing from the doors after finishing.

After looking a bit I’ve just found out my current fob (not oem) has its own receiver by my mirror and it has remote start, I don’t know what brand it is, maybe there is a chance that this aftermarket fob is interfering with the programming mode?
