Isn't this awesome???!!! I laughed for at least 30 minutes at how dumb I was!

So, I went out with some friends tonight and we had some drinks. I was BY FAR the sober one (quit drinking about 2 hours before leaving), I drove them all back to their hotel just a few miles away. Well, I turned in to the wrong parking lot, but it was separated by only a "soft little berm of fluffy snow". They told me I'd have to go out and back down the road to get into the right lot. But then, one of the girls that was with us (that I was kinda trying to impress) said in a joking manner, "just drive over it".

Well, I did and the above picture was the side effect! Go ahead and commence the laughter and ribbing.... :D

Well, I started digging myself out and after about 20 minutes, a guy in a Chevy pulled up and asked if I needed a hand. He offered to push me out, but I didn't want to damage my truck since I didn't have anything that I could put between our trucks (when is that recovery strap group buy over????). Well, he happened to have a plastic garbage can in the bed of his truck that we filled with snow and placed in between our trucks. All I needed was a little nudge to get me over the high-centered point... Just a little case of humiliation, seeing as how a Chevy had to push me out, but it was more funny than anything!! Once I realized we were really stuck, I told the girls to get out and start taking pictures....

And on a side note, just as a bit of karma (seeing as how I started the winch for hire thread) I gave the guy $20 for his help. He gratefully accepted... :)

Funny shit and a great story to tell!! :D

Thought about this, but only after I got stuck...... Oh well, next time.

Oh, and that's not all light, fluffy snow! It's a thin layer of snow on top of a shit load of ice!

I was pretty close to having myself dug out, but the help was appreciated anyway...

Yeah, I tried the locker, but I had no traction on top of the fact that I was high centered on the front diff and frame (I think).

I'm getting a recovery strap through the group buy, it's just it didn't help me tonight... And when I get the All Pro bumper in the next couple of weeks, there will be a pair of D-rings on the front.
