    not sure what type of steel. rtcustomknives.com send him an email with some questions. i asked him awhile back how he made mine and he went in depth about it. i don't have the email anymore but he told me about the blade, handle, and sheath. he is a great guy and makes superior knives.

    i understand what these parts do and i see the significance in buying these parts but would you be better off buying a flashlight that has similar qualities or buying a maglite then spending another 60+ bucks on those upgrades? sorry for the questions but to me a flashlight is a flashlight but since reading the different posts i am obviously mistaken lol
