Get reading dude, there is a whole lotta info in this forum, i'm too tired to get into it tonight but here's a list of terms to pump into the search function, do them one at a time and you will find a lot to read.
    Old Man Emu
    Toyotec Lifts
    Bilstien 5100 shocks
    coilovers
    AAL (add a leaf)
    Wheeler's Off Road

OME 883 front, OMD 3.5" rear, Relentless front bumper, smittybilt 9.5K winch
    what is your budget?
you could do bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable shocks for the front, they provide 0'' .85'' 1.75'' or 2.5'' of lift depending on what you set them on. they shocks cost $180 right now on downsouth motorsports website.
the upside is cost, the downside is the ride is not quite as nice as stock.

you could go more expensive and get new coils, OME (old man emu) or toytec.
upside is you can pick a height that you want, the downside is cost and if you go over 3''s taller than stock with coils you might have to get a new UCA.

since your'e a prerunner you could get lift spindles for the front, i think the camburg spindles give 4''s of lift.
the upside to spindles is it keeps the stock ride, the downside is it pushes the front tires out 1.5 or 2 inches.

as for the rear you could go
AAl (ad a leaf) it just adds a leaf to give the height, the upside is cost, the downside's are slightly harsher ride and they tend to wear out and sag after a few years.

you could refurbish your current spring with ford or chevy leafs. instructions here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/194386-tacoma-spring-refurbishing.html
upsides, cost, ride, and improved load handling, downside, labor intensive.

or you could get a completely new leaf pack, sorry i dont know much about these.
if you plan to lift the rear more than 1'' (i think) you need new rear shocks.
    hope this helps.

Look at MaxTrac Spindles, they're 4 in. for about half the price. And nfs257 can testify for their build quality.
