Yep! I can use my D2's as driving lights if I wanted to.

I can appreciate the uptick in light output that is gained by the LEDs, but cosmetically those are pretty rough IMHO. If you could figure out a way to retrofit those into stock housings you may be onto something.

From what I measured on my 2012..the fog lens are just under 3.5 inches in diameter.
For a clean install you need something like these:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-12W-CR...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35ce8f486c

These are slightly smaller and square, but I think you could make them work too:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/10W-LED-Spo...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35c6e3b98c

These projector style are about the right size too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-X-20W-CRE..._Accessories_Gear&vxp=mtr&hash=item35cab9c38e

Good Luck & let us know how it turns out.

I'm torn about this decision. Wish they made a similar bracket that fit the D2's.

they look alright, but I feel like rigid could have put one of their larger format D series in there. Since they're gonna be priced similarly (im sure) you could look into the PIAA 530 LEDs. One user just installed them on his and the kit has been out for a while now. Go to the lighting section.

Yeah I don't care for them. I'd rather put a light bar in either of my grills and keep my fog light housings stock.
